The present disclosure relates to the technical field of printer consumables, and in particular, to a communication method for a consumable chip, a consumable chip, and a consumable. The communication method for a consumable chip includes: in the process of consumable serial number authentication, performing non-AC authentication with an imaging device based on a first serial number, and performing AC authentication with the imaging device based on a second serial number.
