A handheld electronic, a sound produce system and control method of sound producing thereof are provided. The sound produce system includes a speaker, a feedback unit, a gain unit and a compensation unit. The speaker generates audible sound according to an output audio signal. The feedback unit generates a first detected parameter, wherein the first detected parameter represents a detected excursion. The gain unit receives an input audio signal, and amplifies the input audio signal to generate a gained audio signal according to a gain value. The compensation unit receives the gained audio signal and the first detected parameter, and predicts an excursion of the speaker corresponding to the gained audio signal to generate a predicted excursion parameter, and compensates the gained audio signal to generate the output audio signal according to the first detected parameter and the predicted excursion parameter.

Handheld electronic apparatus, sound producing system and control method of sound producing thereof

An audio system includes a headset and a control device. The headset includes a housing, a speaker and a microphone. When the headset is mounted on an ear, the housing is configured for forming a cavity along with an external auditory canal of the ear. The speaker and the microphone are disposed in the housing. The control device is coupled to the headset. The control device is operable to provide a reference audio signal to the speaker to be broadcasted toward the cavity, further to receive a sampled sound signal through the microphone corresponding to a reflection of the reference audio signal from the cavity, further to calculate an acoustic intensity distribution curve over frequencies from the sampled sound signal, and further to determine whether the cavity has a leakage outlet according to the acoustic intensity distribution curve over frequencies.

Audio system with conceal detection or calibration

An audio and video broadcasting apparatus includes a plurality of sound signal capturing devices, an image capturing device, a controller, and a speaker. The sound signal capturing devices capture a plurality of sound signals. The image capturing device obtains a display image. The controller is configured to: divide the display image into a plurality of display regions; establish a correspondence between the disposition positions and relative positions of the display regions; receive a playback setting command of a selected region, and set a playing weight of each of the display regions according to the playback setting command; and adjust a volume playback setting corresponding to the sound signals according to the playing weight of each of the display regions and the correspondence, and generate an output sound signal according to the volume playback setting and the sound signals. The speaker performs a sound playing action.

An electronic apparatus and a method for activating a specified function are provided. The electronic apparatus includes a speaker, an audio signal processor and an application processor. The audio signal processor senses a variation of an acoustic condition of the speaker. The application processor is used for: generating a logic high or low signal in response to the sensed variation of the acoustic condition; interpreting the logic high or low signal as a control signal; and performing an instruction corresponding to the control signal.

Electronic apparatus and method for activating specified function thereof

An embodiment of the invention provides a noise cancellation method for an electronic device. The method comprises: receiving an audio signal; applying a Fast Fourier Transform operation on the audio signal to generate a sound spectrum; acquiring a first spectrum corresponding to a noise and a second spectrum corresponding to a human voice signal from the sound spectrum; estimating a center frequency according to the first spectrum and the second spectrum; and applying a high pass filtering operation to the sound spectrum according to the center frequency.

Noise cancellation method

A response compensation method, an electronic device and a computer recording medium are provided, where the method is adapted to an electronic device having two non-coplanarly disposed speakers and includes the following steps. A stereo audio signal is respectively high-pass filtered and low-pass filtered followed by sound-field processing to generate a modified high-frequency right-channel signal, a modified high-frequency left-channel signal, a modified low-frequency right-channel signal, and a modified low-frequency left-channel signal. The modified high-frequency right-channel signal and the modified low-frequency right-channel signal are outputted to the first speaker, and the modified high-frequency left-channel signal and the modified low-frequency left-channel signal are outputted to the second speaker, where the modified high-frequency right-channel signal and the modified high-frequency left-channel signal are outputted diffusely by the two speakers, and the modified low-frequency right-channel signal and the modified low-frequency left-channel signal are outputted centrally by the two speakers.

Frequency response compensation method, electronic device, and computer readable medium using the same

A portable electronic device having a speaker module is provided. The speaker module includes: a speaker unit; a back chamber; an acoustic region coupled between the speaker unit and the back chamber; and a porous material at least partially filling a portion of the front chamber, the back chamber, or the channel, for improving and extending bass performance and relieving a acoustic effect caused by the acoustic region coupling the speaker unit and back chamber. Moreover, the portable electronic device is advantageously able to compensate a resonance degradation caused by the porous material.

A sound processing device is provided. The sound processing device includes a microphone array and a post filtering module. The microphone array includes microphones aiming to different directions and configured for receiving sound signals. The post filtering module is configured for receiving the sound signals from the microphone array, filtering the sound signals to generate groups of filtered signals each corresponding to one of the sound signals, wherein each of the filtered signals within a group corresponds to one of different frequency bands, generating band signals each based on a comparison of an intensity of one of the filtered signals that corresponds to the same one of the frequency bands in each group of the filtered signals and a noise intensity correlation between the frequency bands and adding the band signals to generate an output sound signal.

Sound processing device and method

An apparatus and a method for sound recording are provided. The apparatus stores an equalizer and includes a housing, a microphone, and a processor. The microphone includes a plurality of sensors and receives a sound signal through an acoustical resonator in the housing. The microphone generates a plurality of electronic signals in response to the sound signal. The equalizer generates a plurality of equalized signals according to the electronic signals. The processor generates an output signal according to the equalized signals. The equalizer compensates the gain margin and the phase margin caused by the sound signal passing through the acoustical resonator in order to prevent the output signal from being affected by resonance of the sound signal in the acoustical resonator.

An electronic apparatus and a method for providing a sound system of the electronic apparatus are provided herein. The electronic apparatus has a housing, a speaker and a bracket. The housing has a space and a channel, which is coupled to the space. The speaker is placed in the space. The bracket has a first end coupled to the channel and is movable relative to the housing. A sound mode of the electronic apparatus may be switched from a first mode to a second mode by positioning a second end of the bracket from a first position in the channel to a second position away from the channel.

A mobile electronic device and a sound playback method thereof are provided. The mobile electronic device includes a sensor, a speaker, and a controller coupled to the sensor and the speaker. The sensor detects whether the speaker is blocked or not. When the speaker is blocked, the controller multiplies a sound signal by a transfer function and then outputs the multiplied sound signal. The speaker plays the sound signal outputted by the controller. The transfer function changes the direction in which the speaker plays the sound signal.

A speaker module includes a speaker unit, a main body and a speaker carrier. The main body includes a sound outlet opening and an air pressure regulating structure.
