An embodiment of an electronic apparatus may comprise one or more substrates and a controller coupled to the one or more substrates, the controller including circuitry to identify failed memory regions in a memory by a rank, bank, and device associated with the failed memory region, and provide recovery for failed memory regions in three or more banks of a first rank of the memory or three or more devices of the first rank of the memory by virtual lock step device data correction with one or more other ranks of the memory. Other embodiments are disclosed and claimed.

A terminating apparatus for terminating a plurality of wires of a cable to a plurality of connection terminations of a communication module, the communication module comprises at least one upright walls each provided with at least one receiving slots for receiving the connection terminations each of which is electrically connected with one wire. The terminating apparatus comprises: at least one terminating portion into which the upright walls of the communication module are able to be inserted, each terminating portion separately holding the plurality of wires of the cable; and at least one cutting apparatus mounted in the terminating portions outside the receiving slot of the communication module and constructed to cut off parts of the wires which extend out the receiving slots after the wires are terminated to the connection terminations of the communication module. The wires may be easily and quickly terminated to the communication module. External protection layers of the wires are pierced and conductors of the wires are electrically connected to the communication module during terminating the wires. It does not need to peel off the external protection layers of the wires before terminating the wires.

A cryogenic memory cell and a memory device are provided. The cryogenic memory cell includes a spin moment transfer device. The spin moment transfer device converts a write current into a spin polarization current and changes a magnetic polarization direction under the action of the spin polarization current to achieve write storage of 0 and 1. The cryogenic memory cell also includes a nano-superconducting quantum interference device; a ground terminal of the nano-superconducting quantum interference device is in common-ground connection with a ground terminal of the spin moment transfer device, and the nano-superconducting quantum interference device undergoes a magnetic flux change under the action of a change in the magnetic polarization direction of the spin moment transfer device, thereby switching between a superconducting state and a non-superconducting state under a read current bias, to achieve read-out of 0 and 1.

The present invention discloses a clustering routing optimization method based on adaptive evolutionary algorithm for a wireless sensor network, comprising following steps: performing population initialization by initial position and energy information of sensor nodes; calculating fitness values, and implementing iterative operation of elite preservation, adaptive crossover and mutation; after the iteration, selecting a cluster head; routing data packet of the cluster head to a base station. Convergence process of the evolutionary algorithm is improved by nonlinearly adjusting the probability of crossover and mutation; upper and lower bound of crossover and mutation operators are dynamically adjusted by fitness value; adding an incentive factor, adjusting the crossover and mutation probability when the fitness value tends to converge, and running the algorithm again to confirm that a new optimal value is generated. The global search capability and convergence speed of the algorithm are improved by the above method, and avoiding local convergence.

A flexible electroluminescent fiber for embroidery sequentially includes: metal core wires, a light-emitting layer, a transparent conductive layer, a filament, and a protective paint, wherein a quantity of the metal core wires is an even number, and the metal core wires are pasted together before being wrapped by the light-emitting layer; the light-emitting layer is coated with the transparent conductive layer; the protective paint and the filament are exterior to the transparent conductive layer; the metal core wires emit light through energizing; a diameter of the electroluminescent fiber is 0.1-0.3 mm, and a 20-36V safe voltage is applied for emitting light. The flexible electroluminescent fiber of the present invention has sufficient tensile force, and smooth and soft surface. Appearance and hand feeling of the present invention are the same as those of clothing textile fibers.

Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method, system, and computer program product for compacting data in a distributed storage system. In some embodiments, a method is disclosed. According to the method, first information about historical resource usage of a data node and second information about a historical data compaction performed at the data node are obtained. The historical data compaction compacted data files associated with a first database table into one data file. A configuration for a data compaction to be performed on a plurality of data files associated with a second database table is generated based on the first and second information. The data compaction is performed during a future time period. In other embodiments, a system and a computer program product are disclosed.
