This invention relates to novel detergent compositions comprising bacterial mannanase enzymes. The detergent compositions comprising bacterial mannanases are useful in laundry and cleaning applications wherein degradation or modification of mannan is desired. The invention also relates to the use of said detergent compositions in laundry and cleaning applications as well as a method for degrading mannan.

Detergent compositions comprising bacterial mannanases

The present invention is related to variants of fungal serine protease enzyme, which have serine protease activity ofprotease. Also disclosed are isolated nucleic acid molecules, comprising polynucleotide sequences which encode variants of fungal serine protease enzyme, nucleic acid sequences encoding said protease variants, a host cell and a process of producing polypeptides having serine protease activity. Said protease variants are useful as enzyme preparations applicable in detergent compositions and for treating fibers, wool, hair, leather, or silk, for treating food or feed, or for any applications involving modification, degradation or removal of proteinaceous material.

Protease enzyme variants and uses thereof

This present disclosure relates to novel detergent compositions comprising bacterial mannanase enzymes. The detergent compositions comprising bacterial mannanases are useful in laundry and cleaning applications wherein degradation or modification of mannan is desired. The present disclosure also relates to the use of said detergent compositions in laundry and cleaning applications as well as a method for degrading mannan.

The present invention relates to polypeptides having cellulase activity, in particular to variants derived from the 20K-cellulase enzyme. The invention discloses a number of amino acid residue positions important for the properties of the cellulase enzyme and thereby for the stability and/or performance thereof. The novel variants have improved stability compared to the parental cellulase. In particular, the novel variants have good performance in an antigreying application and excellent stability in the presence of a protease in several detergent compositions even in long-term experiments.

The present invention is related to a fungal serine protease enzyme, which said enzyme has serine protease activity and comprises an amino acid sequence ofALKO4122 mature protease as defined in SEQ ID NO:18 or an amino acid sequence having at least 66% identity to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:18. Also disclosed is an isolated nucleic acid molecule, comprising a polynucleotide sequence which encodes a fungal serine protease enzyme, nucleic acid sequences encoding said protease, a host cell and a process of producing a polypeptide having serine protease activity. The invention relates to novel variants of fungal endoglucanases, their production and means for their production. Especially the invention relates to variants ofCel45A. The invention further relates to enzyme preparations and detergent compositions comprising at least one novel variant endoglucanase as well as to processes for treating cellulosic material therewith. The novel variant endoglucanase polypeptides have improved performance in textile applications, especially in biofinishing and biostoning, and in detergent applications, in fabric care and color maintenance, especially in prevention and removal of fuzz and pills, in color care and revival.

Fungal endoglucanase variants, their production and use

Novel fungal endoglucanases Cel5 and Cel12 are disclosed. The endoglucanases are conveniently produced by recombinant technology, and means for their production are described. The endoglucanases are used for treating cellulosic material, especially in textile industry, e.g. in biofinishing or biostoning. They may also be used in detergents, in animal feed and/or in pulp and paper industry, or in hydrolysis of lignocellulosic material for, e.g. bioethanol production.

Fungal endoglucanases, their production and use

The present invention relates to fungal serine protease variants, which comprise an amino acid substitution of valine at position 208 of the parentFe_RF6318 serine protease, wherein the position of the substitution corresponds to the amino acid sequence of the mature Fe_RF6318 enzyme defined in SEQ ID NO:2. The variants have improved thermal stability and/or detergent stability compared to the parent Fe_RF6318 enzyme. Preferably the substitution is V208I and more preferably the variants comprise additional amino acid changes which further increase the stability. Also disclosed are nucleic acid sequences encoding said protease variants as well as recombinant vectors and host cells for the production of the variants. The serine protease variants are applicable in laundry and dish-washing detergent compositions, in treating fibers, in treating wool, in treating hair, in treating leather, in treating food or feed, or in any application involving modification, degradation or removal of proteinaceous material.

Said protease is useful as an enzyme preparation applicable in detergent compositions and for treating fibers, for treating wool, for treating hair, for treating leather, for treating food or feed, or for any applications involving modification, degradation or removal of proteinaceous material.

Said protease is useful as an enzyme preparation applicable in detergent compositions and for treating fibers, for treating wool, for treating hair, for treating leather, for treating food or feed, or for any applications involving modification, degradation or removal of proteinaceous material.

Novel fungal endoglucanases with substantial performance at low temperatures are disclosed. The endoglucanases are conveniently produced by recombinant technology, and means for their production are described. The endoglucanases are used for treating cellulosic material, especially in textile industry, e.g. in biofinishing or biostoning.
