A connecting device () is disclosed for connecting an article () to a support (). The connecting device () comprises a flexible elongate member () and a clamping arrangement () for clamping the flexible elongate member () around the article (). The clamping arrangement () comprises a body () and a clamping element (). The clamping element () is movable between clamping and non-clamping positions. In the clamping position, the clamping element () clamps the flexible elongate member () to the body (), thereby attaching the article () to the clamping arrangement (). In the non-clamping position, the flexible elongate member () is movable through the body ().

Connecting device

An anchor system () comprises an anchor () and a tendon arrangement (). The anchor () has an attaching formation () to attach the tendon arrangement () to the anchor (). The tendon arrangement () extends from the attaching formation () as first and second passes () of the tendon arrangement (). The tendon arrangement () has opposite first and second end portions (A,A). The system further includes a joining arrangement () to join the first and second end portions (A,A) to each other.
