The present invention is a wall anchor having a novel finger configuration. This wall anchor has a head and barrel portion with a bore extending therethrough and laterally expandable fingers in general alignment with the bore. Instead of a straight channel, a channel having curved portions separates the fingers. The curved portions of the channel define ramp surfaces that at least partially extend into the path of a securing member created by the bore. Thus, when a securing member, such as a bolt, pin, screw, nail or similar object is inserted into the bore to secure the wall anchor to the wall, the securing member contacts the two ramp surfaces, separating the fingers. As the fingers separate, a portion of the fingers near the ramp surfaces deform such that the ramp surfaces rest on an outer portion of the securing member, thus providing a securing force for connecting the wall anchor to the wall and relieving stress on the area at which the fingers are connected to the barrel.

According to various aspects of the present disclosure, there are provided various exemplary embodiments of shelves, resilient drawer stops, and drawer brackets mountable to wall-mounted standards for supporting shelves and drawers. In one exemplary embodiment, an apparatus includes at least one shelf member, at least one bracket, and at least one resilient drawer stop. The bracket includes at least one engagement member for engaging a standard to mount the bracket to the standard, a support surface disposed generally horizontally when the bracket is mounted to the standard to slidably support a portion of a drawer, and a shelf support adjacent the support surface for supporting the shelf member. The resilient drawer stop is configured to resist completely sliding a drawer from the bracket's support surface.

A shelf includes a plurality of integrated hook members supporting a rod member to provide free movement of items supported by the rod member. The hook members are integrally connected to support members of the shelf deck to support the rod member for use in, for example, hanging items thereon.

A wire basket includes a storage portion and base portion removably connected together and providing sliding operation. End caps connected to the storage portion are configured to allow for the removable connection. Glide members having a curved portion and connected to the base portion are configured to allow for the sliding operation.

In one embodiment, a shelving apparatus generally includes a track and a standard. The track includes a support portion having an upper support surface and an extension extending generally outwardly from the support portion. The standard includes a back surface having an opening. When the support portion is within the opening, an upper surface of the opening contacts the upper support surface of the support portion, and the extension is engagingly received within a portion of the opening. This engagement of the extension within the portion of the opening can inhibit disengagement of the standard from the track.

Standard and track shelving systems

A drawer bracket is configured for connection to conventional wall mounted standards and provides for supporting a drawer in a generally horizontal orientation. A drawer receiving channel allows for sliding movement of the drawer supported by the drawer bracket. A shelf member may be provided for connection to the drawer bracket to form a shelf above a supported drawer.

The present invention relates to a vertical support standard and track into which the standard can be mounted. The standard contains a plurality of slots in its front surface such that one or more ordinary shelving brackets can be mounted thereon, and contains an opening on its back surface such that it can be mounted to a track upon which the wall standard may be able to slide. The track contains a lip and support portion. The lip extends over the front of the standard to keep it mounted to the track, and the support portion can be inserted into the opening on the back of the standard to provide added support and to allow sliding of the standard if desired. This standard and track configuration thus not only allows greater flexibility for the consumer as to the placement of shelving brackets, but provides greater support and increased loading capacity such that more items can be placed on a shelf that is mounted to the disclosed shelving system.
