Art stream commands comprising gestures, drawing state, and attribution information are received from one or more clients participating in a collaboration session. The art stream commands enable the rendering of and provide source control for a visual document. Attribution for visual differences may be provided. Each of the one or more clients may rewind and play back the art stream commands to provide a detailed understanding of what was contributed by whom. All changes and image variations are non-destructive.

Method for visual differencing with attribution

Presentation of cross-platform multimedia content may be controlled by a media player. Cross-platform content may include a two-dimensional (2D) graphics component, a three-dimensional (3D) graphics component, and a video component. Each component may be rendered as a separate layer, and each component may be rendered independently from one another. The multimedia player may synchronize the separate renderings for presentation. In one embodiment, the rendering of at least one of the separate layers may be performed by a hardware resource separate from the hardware resource executing the multimedia player. Each separate layer may be composited for display. In one embodiment, the compositing may be performed by a hardware resource separate from the hardware resource executing the multimedia player.

Independent layered content for hardware-accelerated media playback

Scaling arbitrarily complex graphical objects is described by superimposing a grid of four guide lines on a graphical object defined by one or more vectors. The guide lines define nine grid sections. The graphical application development environment (GADE) divides any vectors crossing multiple grid sections into separate section vectors, such that each section contains whole vectors. The application and resulting vector information in each grid section is compiled into an executable file. When executed in a compatible run-time container, the container virtually renders a transformed representation of the graphical object in memory. Using information gathered from analyzing the outline of the transformed representation, the run-time container generates code blocks for transforming each of the vectors within the grid sections an appropriate amount that conforms to the outline information. The resulting transformed vectors are displayed in the running application.

Scaling vector objects having arbitrarily complex shapes

A system and method receives a request for a file containing an identifier of the requested file and a message digest, containing an expected hash result of the requested file. The system and method identifies whether it has already stored a file having that identifier and a hash result matching the message digest. If so, the file is provided, optionally after being checked for authenticity via rehashing and comparing again to the message digest. If the file is not stored in the cache, it may be retrieved from a location included in the identifier, hashed and compared to the message digest to authenticate it, and provided to the requesting program if the hash result matches the message digest.
