Multiple position switches and specifically in-line multiple position switches where a user has definitive points of on and off switching which are used to turn multiple redundant internal circuit switches on and off. This can provide for increased reliability of switch operation. The multi-position switch is typically a five-position switch with all five positions in-line and with double or triple redundancy at each position. The switches can also provide for the feel of a snap action mechanism between positions.

The multi-position switch is typically a five-position switch with all five positions in-line and with double or triple redundancy at each position.

A rocker switch that can include multiple redundancy at each position. Specifically, the rocker switch is a two-position rocker switch with both positions in line and with double or triple redundancy at each position. The rocker switch still provides a user with definitive snap 'on' switching and the snap positions which can be used to activate multiple redundant internal circuit switches to provide for increased reliability of switch operation.

A system includes a client application executed by a client computing device for setting up an inflation level and checking an inflation level of an inflatable cushion having at least one air cell or zone and at least one pressure sensor within the cushion that detects air pressure. The client computing device communicates with the inflatable cushion and determines an optimal inflation level for a user of the inflatable cushion.

System and method for cushion inflation

The present disclosure generally relates to a manifold valve assembly engaged to an inflatable apparatus, such as a cushion to prevent pressure ulcers, for example. The manifold valve assembly is also in communication with a processing device to determine an optimal immersion level for a user seated on the inflatable apparatus. Additionally the processing device, in communication with the manifold valve assembly may save optimal immersion or air pressure levels for comparison to future checks of cushion pressure and send that to a user interface at the processing device. The assembly and processing device may also save and dis play a history of pressure checks.

Valve assembly for cushion inflation

A sensor for attachment to an inflatable air cell cushion designed to detect optimal immersion of the cushion user into the in the inflatable cushion. The immersion depth of a user positioned on the cushion is determined by sensing air pressure in the cushion. The sensor accurately reads changes in pressure as air exits the cushion to allow an algorithm to determine optimal internal cushion pressure for a user.
