A microwave frequency discriminator, i.e. an electronic device for directly transforming frequency modulation on a microwave carrier into a demodulated lower frequency signal. The discriminator is similar to a Travis discriminator and includes an inlet microstrip line, two resonant circuits (R.sub.1, R.sub.2) constituted by dielectric resonators and coupled to said inlet microstrip line to receive the modulated microwave signal, two outlet microstrip lines coupling each resonator to a respective microwave detector circuit, said detector circuits including loads (r.sub.1, r.sub.2) in series-opposition in the manner of a Travis discriminator. An amplitude limiter suitable for connection to the discriminator includes a three-port circulator having a first port for receiving microwaves, a third port for providing microwaves to the discriminator, and a second port intermediate the first and third ports in the direction of circulation, the second port being coupled to a synchronized oscillator.

A printed circuit array antenna includes at least one printed circuit formed by a substrate having radiating elements on a first face and an energy distribution tree on a second face. The array antenna is provided with a front structure having an elongated shape and superposed on the first face of the printed circuit. The front structure is composed of a substrate pierced with radiating apertures located opposite to the radiating elements of the printed circuit.

The ultrahigh frequency responsive filter according to the invention comprises an ultrahigh frequency oscillator associated with a rapid phase lock loop. The loop comprises a mixer connected with the output of the oscillator and with the output of a synthesizer. A phase comparator receives a band frequency outputted from the mixer and a phase modulated carrier signal to be filtered. The loop also has an amplifier and a low-pass filter circuit receiving the output signal of the phase comparator. The output of the low pass filter is connected with the frequency control input of the oscillator. Thus, the modulated carrier signal is transposed to the frequency of the voltage-controlled oscillator at the same time as it is subject to band pass filtering by the loop. The filter can be used for ultrahigh frequency filtering in directional radio links.
