An electrical ground strap assembly for attaching a terminal, the electrical ground strap assembly including a bolt and a crown. The bolt includes a head, a body including an incline portion, and a shaft, the incline portion is oriented at an acute angle with respect to a planar surface of the head. The crown includes a chamfer, the chamfer oriented at an angle corresponding to the incline portion of the bolt.

An electrical ground strap assembly for an automotive vehicle. The assembly includes a carrier plate, a bolt having an incline portion, and a nut having an interior chamfer, the interior chamfer being oriented at an angle corresponding to the incline portion of the bolt. In use, the electrode is lowered onto the bolt and the nut is then lowered onto the bolt and the electrode. As the nut comes into contact with the electrode, the electrode is deformed therebetween to provide a mating fit between the incline portion of the bolt and the interior chamfer of the nut.

A compensation nut fastener assembly to connect first and second panels includes first and second nuts. The first nut includes a shaft having an outer threaded portion and a fastener-receiving channel. The first nut is connected to the first panel through the fastener, and the fastener is threadably secured to the first nut within the fastener-receiving channel. The second nut threadably retains the first nut, and includes a retaining wall having an internal threaded portion defining a central passage configured to threadably engage the outer threaded portion of the shaft of the first nut. The second nut is connected to the second panel, and the first nut is moveable within the central passage toward the first panel when the fastener threadably engages the first nut in order to compensate for a gap between the first panel and the second panel.

Compensation nut fastener assembly

A rotary bending device for bending workpiece includes a saddle, a rocker, and first and second alignment elements. The saddle includes a longitudinally extending cavity in which the rocker is received, and the rocker rotates relative to the saddle between a neutral position and a bending position for bending the workpiece. The first alignment element is provided on the rocker, and the second alignment element is positioned to engage the first alignment element to limit axial movement of the rocker relative to the saddle during rotation of the rocker between the neutral position and the bending position. The rocker may tangentially contact a bearing surface of the cavity at no more than two lines of tangential contact during rotation. The rocker may further include a longitudinally extending shoulder, and the device may further include a return element positioned to contact the shoulder for biasing the rocker toward the neutral position.

Rotary bending devices

An anchoring clip assembly is configured to securely anchor to a structure. The assembly may include a main body, a plurality of anchoring members extending from the main body, wherein the plurality of anchoring members are configured to securely anchor to the structure, and at least one verification member configured to provide verification when the plurality of anchoring members are securely anchored to the structure. The verification member(s) may provide visual verification when the plurality of anchoring members are securely anchored to the structure, and/or may include at least one separable portion that is configured to separate from the main body after the plurality of anchoring members are securely anchored to the structure.

Airbag anchoring clip assembly

A hood latch assembly configured to securely latch a striker bar of a hood to a main frame of a vehicle includes a main body having a moveable secondary latch pivot arm, and a moveable primary latch member. The primary latch member is configured to secure the striker bar in a primary closed position, and the secondary latch pivot arm is configured to secure the striker bar in a secondary closed position above the primary latch member.

Vehicle hood latch assembly

A lid striker assembly is configured to mate with a latching assembly having a pawl. The lid striker assembly includes a plate, and at least one spring beam extending from the plate. The spring beam(s) is integrally formed with the plate as a single unit and is configured to exert a resistive force into the latching assembly when the lid striker assembly is secured to the latch assembly.

Lid securing assembly

A nut fastener adapted for insertion into an opening in a panel. The nut fastener includes a platform including an upper face and a lower face. A sleeve defining a sleeve axis extends through the platform. The sleeve includes a sleeve inlet opening at the upper face adapted to receive an elongate fastening member along the sleeve axis. A first retention arm extends downwardly from a first position on the platform. At least a second retention arm extends downwardly from a second position on the platform. The first position and the second position are disposed on substantially opposing sides of the sleeve axis. The first retention arm and the second retention arm are adapted to rotate to outboard locking positions upon insertion of the elongate fastening member.

Panel fastener

A laminated nut with a visual indicator indicating if the nut is in a fully tightened state. The nut includes a plurality of conical disc springs enclosed in a cage. In one embodiment, a visual indicator extends axially from the upper surface of the outermost disc spring. In one embodiment, the visual indicator is retracted into the cage when the disc springs flatten as the nut is tightened. In one embodiment, the visual indicator aligns with a reference point on the cage when the nut is fully tightened. In one embodiment, the visual indicator is made more apparent by marking the visual indicator with a contrasting color.

A self-locking panel nut fastener having a nut for being received within an opening in a panel which self-locks and upon receiving a threaded screw or bolt enhances the locking relationship with the panel.

Push-in nut

A fastening clip configured to secure a first panel to a second panel may include a base supporting a plurality of resilient beams, and a plurality of tangs outwardly extending from an outer surface of each of the resilient beams. The plurality of tangs are configured to securely engage the first and/or second panels. The fastening clip may also include stabilizing flaps on either side.

A hinge assembly includes a door hinge housing configured to be mounted to a door, a body hinge housing configured to be mounted to a stationary object, and a check assembly including a spring. The body hinge housing is pivotally secured to the door hinge housing. The check assembly is covered by at least one of the door hinge housing and the body hinge housing.

A latch striker includes a base and an arm having a segment extending over the base in spaced relation thereto. Cylinder segments project toward each other from the base and arm and are axially aligned and secured with respect to each other.

Door latch striker

A fastener system for mounting to a panel includes a twist-in fastener that rotatably engages an opening in the panel. The fastener includes a fastener body defining an opening extending through the fastener body for receiving a mating fastener, a plurality of facets positioned around the fastener body opening for facilitating the mounting of the fastener onto the panel, and a fastener base. Panel-engaging members extend outwardly from the fastener base to rotatably mount the fastener through the panel opening and onto the panel. At least one anti-rotation member also extends outwardly from the fastener base to prevent the mounted fastener from backing out of the panel opening upon the removal of the mating fastener.
