A sterile, compact wrapping is provided to present components in order of use in a medical procedure, particularly a urethral catheterization procedure. Pockets are arranged in a line along a longitudinally extending midsection of the wrapping. Longitudinally extending flaps are provided along the edges of the midsection. Components are placed in the pockets in order of use, and the wrapping is rolled up, beginning with the pocket containing the last used component. The flaps are folded over the rolled up midsection. The rolled and folded wrapping, which maintains the components in a sterile condition until use, may be placed in a further package for shipping. In use, the flaps are unfolded and the wrapping is unrolled sufficiently to expose the first needed component. As the procedure continues, the wrapping is unrolled sufficiently to expose the next needed component, until all components have been used. The used components may be replaced in the pockets and the wrapping rerolled and refolded for disposal.

A drainage device comprising, a urine receptacle having walls define a chamber, an elastic tubular section having a lumen communicating with the chamber and a distal opening, and a device for simultaneously closing the lumen and covering the distal opening, and for simultaneously opening the lumen and uncovering the distal opening.

Drainage device

A fluid delivery system including a flexible plastic container having a filling inlet in the upper portion thereof and a feeding outlet in the lower portion thereof with a control valve to control flow from the outlet. The container is provided with a first hanger member for hanging the container on a first hanging axis. The container is further provided with a second hanger member for hanging the container on a second hanging axis which extends at right angles to the first hanging axis. The container is provided with an internal barrier means which extends from one edge of the container to a point spaced from the opposite edge of the container along a line parallel to the second hanging axis.

A fluid drainage bag comprises a sealed bag body and a tab member integrally formed on the bag body. When the tab member is laterally pulled away from the bag body by the attendant, the bag body tears to form a permanent outlet opening through which fluid may be drained from the bag body.

A specimen collection assembly comprising a cup member having a body portion and an open end closure portion. The assembly also includes a cap member having a closure portion adapted for engagement with the cup closure portion to effectuate a seal between the cap member and the cup member to thereby seal the interior of the cup body portion. The cup and cap members each have an outer protective wall thereon extending past and covering the outermost extremities of the closure portions of the cup and cap members to protect the closure portions from hand and body contact.

A device for measuring a discharge of urine comprising, a receiving member having an inlet port to receive the discharge, and a receptacle having a chamber to receive the discharge from the receiving member, and means for measuring a dynamic characteristic of the discharge. The device has a container attached to the receptacle to receive the discharge passing from the receptacle.
