A system used to control the orientation of a vehicle's suspension. The system includes a control system receiving input data from a plurality of sensors concerning the relative motion, speed, and orientation of the vehicle. The control system is configured to process the input data and actively control the orientation of the suspension system by selecting a suitable driver speed and tilt angle according to external conditions.

Control system for tilting motorcycle trike

A detachable body for a motorcycle trike has a rigid trunk section with an interior volume, the body being configured for location between rear wheel assemblies of the trike. A door adjacent the volume is operable to allow access to the volume. At least two attachment features provide for releasably attaching the body to a frame of the trike, the attachment features being operable without the use of tools for attaching and detaching the body from the frame.

Detachable body for motorcycle trike

A tilting suspension system is adapted for use with a vehicle having three wheels and a frame. The system has two sets of control arms, each set of control arms being pivotally connected to one side of the frame. An upright is pivotally connected to each set of control arms, each upright having a rotatable hub for allowing one of the wheels to be mounted thereto. Two rocker arms are pivotally connected to the frame, and a control link is pivotally connected to each of the rocker arms, such that pivoting of one rocker arm causes corresponding pivoting of the other rocker arm. A link member operably connects each rocker arm to a corresponding upright, such that pivoting of each rocker arm causes corresponding movement of the uprights. An actuator is configured to selectively pivot the rocker arms, such that actuation of the actuator pivots the rocker arms, thereby causing the frame to rotate about a generally longitudinal roll center and causing each upright to rotate about a generally longitudinal axis.

A portable detachable and inflatable motorcycle seat which is adapted for temporary attachment to a motorcycle. It includes an outer case of flexible water repellent material having a longitudinally disposed zipper along one side to provide ready access to the interior. Within the interior there is an inflatable bladder having a connected air passage for introducing or evacuating air therefrom, while on the exterior of one major surface of the case there are disposed a plurality of suction cups for attachment to the motorcycle. Extensions from the suction cups extend into and through the inflatable bladder to strengthen the assembly and to provide reliable attachment. When the seat is not in use, air may be evacuated from the bladder so that the seat can be collapsed and folded into a very small and compact article to enhance portability and storage.
