An antidiabetic pharmaceutical formulation is provided, especially adapted for treating Type II diabetes, which includes a combination of metformin and glipizide in a manner to control moisture in the formulation so that the glipizide does not hydrolyze, yet the metformin is compressible, if necessary. A method for treating diabetes is also provided employing the above formulation.

Antidiabetic formulation and method

This invention relates to a stable, easy to constitute, injectable formulation of anticancer agent BMY-25067. More specifically, the present invention concerns a formulation of BMY-25067 obtained from lyophilizing a solution comprising up to 4 mg of BMY-25067 per mL of 65% t-butanol/water, further comprising about 2% PVP (K-12 or K-17), optionally comprising pharmaceutically acceptable carrier(s).

Stable injectable formulation of BMY-25067

Solutions of carboplatin and other malonato platinum(II) antitumor agents are prepared containing stabilizing amounts of 1,1-cyclobutanedicarboxylic acid or salt at pH 4-8. The stabilizers inhibit unacceptable discoloration and precipitation. The solutions may also be stabilized by purging the carrier with air or oxygen and, optionally, blanketing the headspace with air or oxygen.
