A hand-held debris blower including a blower tube and an associated ejector. The blower includes an airflow generator adapted to generate a primary airflow that is directed into a blower tube. A flow ejector is operable to selectively increase a working airflow provided by the blower by selectively entraining a secondary airflow within the primary airflow.

A lawn and garden tool having a handle, a tool head and an adjustable length boom, wherein the boom includes telescoping first and second boom sections. The tool includes a connector assembly having a lock adapted to selectively lock the boom sections relative to one another at any one of a plurality of telescopic locations. The connector assembly further includes a latch adapted to maintain engagement of the boom sections relative to one another, wherein the latch may be manipulated by an operator to selectively allow separation of the boom sections.

A power equipment system with a plurality of power equipment units each including a working tool. Each of the power equipment units may include provisions permitting independent connection with both a battery and an electric motor, wherein the battery and electric motor may be moved between different power equipment units as needed. In some embodiments, a first power equipment unit may provide an identity information signal of the associated working tool to a controller of either or both of the motor and the battery. The identity information may limit or control one or more operating parameters of the motor when the motor is installed on the first power equipment unit.
