A device for delivering an agent may comprise a chamber for receiving agent through an agent inlet; and a body received within the chamber. The body may be movable in first and second directions along a longitudinal axis of the chamber. In a first configuration of the body, an amount of the agent may flow into the chamber via the agent inlet. In a second configuration of the body, the agent is prevented from flowing into the chamber via the agent inlet. When the body is transitioned from the first configuration to the second configuration, the amount of the agent may be moved from a first position along the longitudinal axis of the chamber to a second position along the longitudinal axis of the chamber.

Devices and methods for delivering powdered agents

A clipping device includes a clip including a capsule and a pair of clip arms movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. A tension member includes a distal portion and a proximal portion, a pair of protrusions extending from opposing surfaces of the proximal portion to be received within openings extending through proximal ends of the clip arms, the proximal portion including a relief to define a pair of fingers separated from one another at proximal ends thereof. A yoke including a central portion including a recess formed at a distal end thereof, the recess sized and shaped to releasably receive the pair of fingers of the tension member, the pair of fingers configured to flex toward one another when a predetermined force is exerted thereon to release the pair of fingers from the recess and disengage the tension member from the yoke during deployment of the clip.

Hemostasis clip reduced length deployment mechanism

A clipping device includes a clip including a capsule and a pair of clip arms, proximal ends of which are slidably received within the channel to move the clip arms between an open configuration and a closed configuration. Each of the pair of clip arms includes an elongated opening extending through the proximal ends thereof. A connector includes a central portion received between the proximal ends of the clip arms and a pin extending from the central portion receivable within the opening of each of the clip arms, the connector movable from an unlocked configuration, in which the pin is received within a distal portion of the elongated opening, to a locked configuration, in which the pin is received within a proximal portion of the elongated opening, when a predetermined force is applied thereto.

Hemostasis clip two stage deployment mechanism to eliminate shed parts

A medical device comprising a housing defining at least one enclosure for storing agent in a first form, a force applicator within the housing and adjacent the enclosure, a drive mechanism for moving the agent toward the force applicator, wherein the force applicator defines a surface for applying a force to the agent to separate the agent into particles smaller than a size of the first form, and wherein the device defines a lumen for receiving the particles from the force applicator and for receiving a pressurized fluid to propel the particles through the lumen.

Agent delivery device

A device may be configured to deliver an agent to a target tissue via a pressurized fluid and the device may include a catheter including a lumen; an enclosure configured to store the agent, receive the pressurized fluid, and release a combination of the pressurized fluid and the agent; and a valve downstream of the enclosure to receive the combination of the pressurized fluid and the agent from the enclosure. The valve may have a first configuration preventing a flow of the combination through the lumen and a second configuration permitting the flow of the combination through the lumen.

Medical devices for agent delivery and related methods of use

A device for delivering an agent may comprise: a housing defining an enclosure. The housing may be configured to store an agent. The device may further comprise an inlet, in fluid communication with the enclosure, for receiving a flow of pressurized fluid; an outlet in fluid communication with the enclosure; and a filter disposed within the enclosure. Pores of a wall of the filter may be configured such that the fluid is permitted to pass through the pores into a channel defined by an inner surface of the wall. An actuation member may be configured to transition between a first configuration, in which portions of the agent disposed proximally to the actuation member are prevented from passing distally of the actuation member, and a second configuration, in which portions of the agent disposed proximally of the actuation member are capable of passing distally of the actuation member.

A clipping device includes a capsule including a longitudinal body and a cap mounted over a distal end thereof so that the cap is movable relative to the longitudinal body from a pre-deployed configuration to a deployed configuration in which the cap, is moved proximally relative to the longitudinal body to reduce a length of the capsule. A channel of the cap and a channel of the capsule are substantially aligned with respect to one another. At least proximal portions of a pair of clip arms are received within the channels of the cap and the longitudinal body so that the clip arms are movable relative to the capsule between an open configuration, in which distal ends of the clip arms are separated from one another, and a closed configuration, in which the distal ends of the clip arms are drawn toward one another.

A device includes a clip including a capsule and a pair of clip arms, proximal ends of which are slidably received within a channel of the capsule to move the clip arms between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The clip arms are aligned relative to one another via a pin received within openings extending through proximal ends of the clip arms. A proximal portion includes a flexible shaft extending from a proximal end to a distal end including a bushing releasably coupled to the capsule. A control member extends longitudinally through the flexible shaft from a proximal end to a distal end releasably coupled to the proximal ends of the clip arms, the distal end of the control member including a pair of holding jaws, each of which include a pair of fingers extending about the pin along opposing sides thereof to grip the pin therebetween.

A system for treating tissue includes an applicator including a catheter and a control member extending therethrough, the control member longitudinally movable relative to the catheter and including an abutment structure proximate a distal end thereof, and a clip assembly releasably coupleable to a distal end of the applicator, the clip assembly including a pair of clip arms, a proximal end of each of the clip arms slidably received within a channel of a capsule and configured to be releasably coupled to the distal end of the control member so that the clip arms are movable relative to the capsule between a tissue receiving configuration and a tissue clipping configuration, the capsule including proximal tabs movable between a biased non-engaging and an engaging configuration, in which the proximal tabs engage an engaging portion of the lumen of the catheter, when the abutment structure is received within the capsule.

Multiple open/close of reloadable clip

A medical device that includes an enclosure for storing an agent, an agitator positioned adjacent to or within the enclosure and configured to oscillate relative to the enclosure, and an outlet having a first end in fluid communication with the enclosure and a second end in fluid communication with a channel of a delivery tube. Oscillation of the agitator causes the agent to move toward the outlet.

Agent delivery systems and methods of using the same

A system includes a clip having a pair of clip arms, proximal ends of the clip arms received within a channel of a capsule to be moved between an open configuration and a closed configuration. A clipping system includes a clip having a pair of clip arms, proximal ends of the clip arms slidably received within a channel of a capsule to be moved between an open configuration and a closed configuration. A proximal end of the capsule including connecting tabs extending proximally therefrom. An applicator includes an elongated flexible member and a control member extending therethrough. The control member includes a distal end connected to the clip arms to move the clip assembly between the open and closed configurations. A distal end of the elongated flexible member includes a bushing including a first ramped surface, along which the connecting tabs slide along to engage a corresponding engaging feature of the bushing, and a second ramped surface proximal of the first ramped surface, the connecting tabs slidable along the second ramped surface to plastically deform toward a deployed configuration.
