A method of accomplishing a transaction by a user equipment. Transaction information is inserted in at least one data field of an information entity that associates with the transaction based on information available at the user equipment. The information entity is then transmitted from the user equipment over a wireless interface. The insertion may require authorization. The insertion may occur automatically in response to a predefined event.

Advanced method and arrangement for performing electronic payment transactions

The invention relates to an arrangement for implementing data transmission between at least two devices. At least a section of a connection between at least two different devices is implemented by a wireless connection and at least some of the communication between the devices takes place as method call messages and reply messages to method calls. At least some of the messages to be transmitted include an address of the application that transmitted a message. A device behind the wireless connection includes means for transmitting a message containing the address such that the address of the application is provided with a predetermined symbol pattern. The arrangement includes an adapter to adapt the protocol used over the wireless section of the connection to the rest of the network and to replace the symbol pattern with the address of the device that transmitted the message.

The invention relates to a method for commanding a security element of a mobile terminal, and to a mobile terminal. An installed application of the mobile terminal issues a command to a platform library of the mobile terminal. Then the platform library reads information from an access control file of the security element. After this, the platform library obtains an access code for the security element from a user according to the access control file information, and inputs the obtained access code and the command to the security element. An action is performed according to the command in the security element, if the access code is approved by the security element.

The invention relates to a data transmission arrangement between at least two apparatuses in a system in which part of the connection between different apparatuses is a wireless connection. The apparatuses communicate with method calls containing a service request. Service brokers direct the service request to a given server, which replies to the method call according to the required service by sending the information required for the service to the service broker which sends the information to the sender of the method call. The arrangement further comprises an adapter which is connected to wireless apparatuses and which adapts the protocol used in the wireless connection to the rest of the network.
