A method and corresponding apparatus are configured to transmit, during terminal attachment to an evolved packet system and in at least a portion of a diameter command, centralized service-related subscription information. The method and apparatus are also configured to transmit, in an initial message of a call continuity procedure, received centralized service-related subscription information. The method and apparatus are configured to operate according to the received centralized service-related subscription information in the initial message of the call continuity procedure.

Methods, apparatuses, system, related computer programs and data structures for subscription information delivery

Certain networks can operate using circuit switched infrastructure, while other networks may operate using infrastructure for the long term evolution (LTE) of the third generation partnership project (3GPP). Devices can operate across the boundaries of these networks. Thus, such devices as well as the networks may benefit from network sharing in reverse single radio voice call continuity. For example, a method may include requesting handover of a user equipment from a source network to a target network. The method may also include providing a network identification corresponding to the source network while requesting the handover. Communication systems may benefit from various aspects of emergency call handing. For example, wireless communication systems may benefit from clean up with respect to a fast return feature applied to an emergency call using circuit switched fallback, without a location area update. The method may also include configuring communications so that mobile terminated services work properly after completion of the emergency communication. More particularly, for example, a method may include determining in a network element that the emergency communication is a circuit switched fallback communication. The method further includes sending the service identifier by the user equipment to a call state control function including a policy decision function, and authorizing quality of service for a user plane context by the policy decision function. Furthermore, the method includes enabling, by the policy decision function based on the service identifier, the different control plane sessions with media flows of the same application to share the same user plane context with the authorized quality of service to multiplex the different control plane sessions with media flows of the same application.

Embodiments provide a method and apparatus wherein a proxy control function may forward an emergency session to a serving control function, the serving control function forwarding the session to a default emergency control function. The default emergency control function may return an address or identity of an emergency control function or may forward the session to an emergency control function.

This invention relates to a method of routing for a message via an IMS system is disclosed. A message is received at an ICSCF. Address information is obtained for one of an application server, server or gateway for which said message is intended. The message is sent to said application server, server or gateway in accordance with said address information.

Routing messages

A mechanism for providing a connection from an IP-based network to a circuit-switched network, such as a GSM network is disclosed. A temporary routing number for the circuit-switched network, such as an E.164 number, is delivered to a user terminal, and a circuit-switched call leg is established from the user terminal to the IP-based network using the routing number. Thereby, IMS-services are provided for end users which are located in the radio access network not having sufficient QoS required for voice over IP. In the example of a conference call service, a request for a conference call may forwarded via a data channel or data path to an application server which provides that conference call service. The application server then selects a conference routing number and returns the routing number to the conference host terminal via the data channel. Using the received conference routing number, the conference host terminal can then set up a circuit-switched connection as a call leg of the conference call.

By this method, a rejection of a connection request is overridden in case an entity having a special identification, e.g., a subscriber having a special number, is called. The invention also proposes a device for carrying out the method.
