The invention relates to a dual flow turbojet comprising an engine of axis X housed completely inside a tubular pod whose inside wall co-operates with the case of said engine to define an annular passage for a secondary flow delivered by a fan, said pod having an air inlet upstream of the engine, thrust-reverser means in its middle section, and a common nozzle for ejecting both the primary flow and the secondary flow, the outlet of the nozzle being situated downstream from the engine, said thrust-reverser means being suitable for taking up an active position in which the secondary flow is diverted outwards and forwards from said pod, said nozzle having an enclosure defined by the inside and outside walls of said nozzle.

Device for cooling the common nozzle of a turbojet pod

A turbojet-engine thrust reverser is provided with thrust reverser door assemblies each having a pivoting thrust reverser door ( ). The thrust reverser door is connected to two pivots ( ) that rest on a support fitting ( ) to constitute a structural frame that is attached to longitudinal beam cowling portions ( ) and a downstream cowling portion ( ) of a stationary thrust-reverser structure in order to constitute a rigid assembly between the upstream and downstream cowling portions ( ). At least one primary mechanical lock ( ) is placed on at least one longitudinal side of the door ( ) and the interface loads of the lock ( ) are absorbed by the beam cowling portions ( ).

Turbojet-engine thrust reverser with doors mounted on centered pivots

A thrust reverser for a turbojet engine is provided with at least one displaceable assembly including a displaceable cowling portion and a flap. The displaceable cowling portion and the flap each subtend stationary upstream and downstream cowling portions such that the displaceable cowling portion forms a portion of the external engine cowling covering a reverse thrust opening and the flap forms a portion of the outer boundary of the gas flow in a forward thrust position. In a reverse thrust position, the reverse thrust opening is uncovered, and the displaceable cowling portion and the flap are displaced downstream such that the displaceable cowling portion extends downstream, parallel to the longitudinal engine axis and above, without interference, the downstream cowling portion. The flap engages in rolling contact with a plurality of rolling elements supported by an upstream end of the stationary downstream cowling portion and pivots and so as to block the gas flow duct and redirect the gas flow outward though the vane-cascades.
