The present invention relates to an optoelectronic module (M), intended to convert an electrical signal from a main electronic board into an optical signal or vice versa. It comprises integrating, into the optoelectronic module, a device for removably mounting an optical contact element, consisting of a flexible plate the flexibility of which allows it to be moved from an unlocking position in which it permits the passage of the body and of the optical ferrule of the element, to a locking position in which the latter is locked in the casing of the module, once the optical ferrule has been optically coupled to the module. Furthermore, a simple, even manual, pressure allows the plate to be moved from a locking position to an unlocking position that permits the optical element to be removed from the casing of the module.

An optical connection assembly includes a first optical contact including at least one body which is designed to envelop a first ferrule at least partly, laterally, and constitutes the receptacle for the first ferrule, at least a first guide arm extending beyond the front face of the first ferrule, and at least a second guide arm beyond which the body of the ferrule extends; a second optical contact including at least one body which is designed to envelop a second ferrule at least partly, laterally, and constitutes the receptacle for the second ferrule, and at least one guide means extending beyond the front face of the ferrule and being designed to cooperate with the first guide arm of the first optical contact, in order to carry out the guiding, then the connection, between the first and second optical contacts.

An optical contact having a ferrule extending along a longitudinal axis, the ferrule having a front face facing an optical contact of complementary type when the optical contact is connected to the optical contact of complementary type, and a rear face opposite from the front face, and a body within which the ferrule is received in optionally movable manner, the body including at least one portion surrounding the outside of the ferrule around the longitudinal axis thereof, and at least one portion extending beyond the rear face of the ferrule towards the outside thereof.

Optical contact and multicontact connector

An optical connector element having a coupling face for coupling to another optical connector element. It comprises: a ferrule; a ferrule holder co-operating with the ferrule to form a continuous ferrule assembly; a body receiving said ferrule assembly and open on the coupling face end so as to enable said ferrule assembly to be inserted into it; resilient means tending to urge the ferrule assembly inserted into the body so that it is pushed back out of said body; means for preventing the ferrule assembly from rotating relative to the body; and snap-fastening shapes on the ferrule assembly and on the body. The snap-fastening shapes on the body are situated on that side of the resilient means which is closer to the coupling face, and they are mounted on the body in a manner such that they can retract reversibly.
