A tow-bar fitting for connecting a tow-bar to an aircraft landing gear is disclosed including a tow-bar attachment to which, in use, the tow-bar is coupled. The tow-bar fitting also includes a first fuse member via which linear loads but not torque loads are transmitted from the tow-bar attachment to the rest of the landing gear. The first fuse member is configured to fail at a predetermined linear load threshold. The tow-bar fitting includes a second fuse member via which torque loads are transmitted from the tow-bar attachment to the rest of the landing gear. The second fuse member is configured to fail at a predetermined torque load threshold. A method of towing an aircraft is also disclosed.

Tow-bar fitting

An aircraft landing gear is disclosed including a main leg, a foldable stay and a lock link configured to hold the foldable stay in position when the landing gear is extended. The foldable stay includes a first stay member and a second stay member, and the landing gear is configured such that the second stay member rotates in a first direction from a first position to a second position as the landing gear moves from a retracted configuration to an extended configuration. An end stop is arranged such that in the event the lock link fails, the second stay member rotates in the first direction from the second position to a third position in which the stay contacts the end stop thereby preventing further movement of the second stay member in the first direction and wherein the foldable stay goes over centre as the second stay member moves from the first position to the third position.

A turbofan having a nacelle comprising a slider translatable between an advanced position and a retracted position to open a window between a duct and the exterior, a plurality of blades, each one rotatable on the slider between a stowed position and a deployed position, and a maneuvering system that moves each blade and comprises, for each blade, a shaft rotatable on the slider and on which the blade is fixed, and a toothed sector fixed to the shaft, and a toothed arc rotatable on the slider about a longitudinal axis, where the teeth of the toothed arc mesh with the teeth of each toothed sector, a cam, as one with the toothed arc, and a groove, as one with a fixed structure, which receives the cam and where, when the slider moves, the cam follows the groove and rotates the toothed arc.

Turbofan comprising a set of rotatable blades for blocking off the bypass flow duct

A turbofan comprising a fan casing and a nacelle comprising a cowl translatable between an advanced position and a pushed-back position in which the mobile cowl and the fan casing define a window therebetween. The nacelle also comprises reverser flaps, each reverser flap being mounted in a linked manner on the mobile assembly between a closed position in which it obstructs the window and an open position in which it does not obstruct the window. The nacelle also has an impelling mechanism comprising a lever arm rotatable on the mobile assembly and having a roller, a connecting rod mounted rotatably between the reverser flap and the lever arm, and a channel receiving the roller, the channel having a front part parallel with the translation direction and a rear part extending after the front part and oriented inward as it progresses from the front toward the rear.

An elastic device for coupling between an aircraft landing gear wheel and a coaxial motorization member for motorization of the wheel. The elastic device comprises a plurality of arms to be rotationally coupled to the motorization member adjacent a first radially inner end and which are to be linked to the wheel adjacent their radially outer opposite end, the arms being substantially rigid in a plane perpendicular to the rotational axis of the wheel and flexible in directions substantially transverse to the plane.

Coupling device of a motorized wheel of aircraft landing gear

A motorization mechanism for a wheel of a landing gear assembly, including an input gear driven by a motor-reducer unit; a pendulum element, carrying two intermediate gear wheels driven in rotation by this element, with the intermediate gear wheels having synchronized rotation blocking mechanisms such that the two intermediate gear wheels can be simultaneously engaged or simultaneously released. The angular displacement of the pendulum element around its rotation axis is limited by a first and a second adjustable stop. These adjustable stops are set so that when the pendulum element comes into contact with an adjustable stop, the blocking mechanism of the intermediate gear wheels is freed, whereas it is engaged when the pendulum element is in the neutral position. This pendulum assembly faces a cog wheel that is capable of driving the hub of the said wheel.
