A method for broadcasting an alert service in a system for broadcasting digital audiovisual programs in a single-frequency network, wherein the method includes steps of: obtaining frames containing the alert service and other services; associating a mark for each frame; identifying the identifiers of the packets of audio and video components of the alert service and of other services; identifying the identifiers of packets of audio and video components of other services; receiving a command to broadcast an alert message; storing video and audio packets of the alert service as from the first frame mark following the reception of the alert message broadcast command; and replacing, from the second frame mark following the reception of the alert message broadcast command, all the packets of the video and audio components of the services other than the alert service with the packets of the alert service.

Method for broadcasting an alert service

A method for generating a stream from first and second data streams received, the data streams comprising frames, each frame containing a synchronization packet, a signaling packet giving information on the structure of the data stream and packets referred to as baseband frames. The method comprises the steps of aligning the two data streams received by putting in phase the synchronization packets or the signaling packets of the frames of each data stream, identifying, in one of the data streams received, baseband packets identifying packets of a first type, and inserting, in each frame of the first stream received, baseband packets of the frame of the second stream the synchronization packet of which is aligned with the synchronization packet of the frame of the first stream.

Method for generating and transferring at least one data stream

Housing for an electronic card includes a chassis that has a base, a cover, and an insertion wall. The base has a female element and a pocket. The electronic card can be introduced/extracted through a window of the insertion wall. The electronic card also includes guide walls, each including: a guide groove to receive the electronic card; a male element to cooperate with the female element; a tongue disposed at an end of the guide wall oriented on a side opposing the insertion wall and forming an arm having a stud to be inserted in the pocket; a clip disposed at the guide wall end and forming an elastic blade with a tooth oriented towards the base, and a face of the blade is oriented towards the cover and is designed to abut the latter; and a backplane electronic card to be inserted between the blade and the arm.

The present invention concerns a method for generating a stream in accordance with the DVB standard that is understood by a first-generation decoder, typically in accordance with DVB-S/C/T/, and which also enables the deterministic generation of a stream in accordance with the second-generation DVB-T2 standard. A method is described for generating a stream containing a multiplex according to a first-generation DVB standard. This stream also contains the information relating to an encapsulation in accordance with DVB-T2 of at least one subset of broadcast programs inserted in the stream in the form of private sections that will be ignored by a first-generation decoder that will decode the stream in accordance with the first-generation standard. Equipment according to the invention can construct the T2-MI stream at a DVB-T2 transmitter deterministically, which can then be integrated in an SFN network.

System for broadcasting video programmes

A device is positioned upstream of a modulator in a digital service stream broadcasting chain, and is adapted to receive a plurality of transport streams and to transmit a transport stream to a modulator, each transport stream encapsulating a digital service stream adapted to be broadcast by the modulator, the digital service streams representing the same digital service. The device is also adapted to: digital service streams from the received transport streams; detect errors in the streams; align the extracted streams; select a stream from the aligned streams, according to any errors detected; encapsulate the selected stream, in order to form the stream to be transmitted to the modulator.
