A device for processing a data stream originating from a device generating matrices of Nl rows by Nc columns of data includes K computation tiles and interconnection means for transferring the data stream between the computation tiles. At least one computation tile includes: one or more control units to provide instructions, n processing units, each processing unit carrying out the instructions received from a control unit on a neighborhood of Vl rows by Vc columns of data, a storage unit to place the data of the stream in the form of neighborhoods of Vl rows by (n+Vc&#x2212;1) columns of data. The storage unit includes a block of shaping memories of dimension Vl&#xd7;Nc and a block of neighborhood registers of dimension Vl&#xd7;(n+Vc&#x2212;1), an input/output unit to convey the data stream between the interconnection means and the storage unit on the one hand, and between the processing units and the interconnection means on the other hand.

Device for the parallel processing of a data stream

A method of calibrating a camera ( ) disposed on a mobile support ( ). The camera takes an image of a test object formed of at least three marks appearing in the field of the camera, and analysis of the image gives the initial position and orientation of the camera with respect to that of the test object, which are known in an application. The support ( ) can then be moved towards an object ( ) of which the camera takes images. As the movements of the support are measured accurately, analysis of the images of the object gives the precise position and orientation of the object with respect to the camera and with respect to the test object. One application is the recording of road signs ( ) in order to compose databases for network management or for an on-board navigation system.

Method for calibrating the initial position and the orientation of one or several mobile cameras

An attempt is made to localize an object (,) with marks (,) in space, using a video camera (,). A search is made for traces of the marks (,) on the image, to deduce the directions of the marks (,) in the camera (,) view field and the position of the object (,). The algorithm used includes a step in which marks are approximately located by simple formulas, and then a step in which the estimate is improved by an error minimization calculation. Traces are modeled on the image to determine their position with high accuracy, better than the resolution pitch of the camera (,) which therefore does not need to give a very sharp image. The marks (,) are preferably passive marks and may or may not be reflecting, and do not emit any light. The system is not very sensitive to parasite lighting.

Process and device for locating an object in space

The invention relates to a process for controlling the circulation of messages in a ring network, in which the data are consecutively supplied, which ensures a consistency of the circulating messages. It also relates to an interconnection system for performing this process. This system comprises a plurality of processors (P0, . . . , Pn) connected on a ring network by means of in each case a cell (C0, . . . , Cn) ensuring the transmission and reception of messages circulating in the ring, a reception module (R0, . . . , Rn) able to store the messages intended for the processor and a transmission module (E0, . . . En) able to store the messages to be supplied to the network.
