An image processor device includes a computer processor unit (CPU), at least one memory connected to the CPU, and device for transferring images to the CPU. The memory contains an image-processing program for processing images showing at least one person. The program performs the following operations: detecting at least a face in each image and extracting therefrom a biometric template of the face; for each image, storing in a database an image reference, the biometric template, and if possible context information for the image; comparing the biometric templates corresponding to different image references with one another and associating together the image references for which the comparison has a similarity score greater than a predetermined threshold; and searching for context information corresponding to at least one of the references of the associated images, and if there is corresponding context information, establishing a link between the associated images.

The invention relates to a method for controlling access to or exit from a controlled area, implemented in a system comprising at least one database comprising: a first data set, comprising biometric data of persons linked with identifiers of means of transport or travel; and a second data set including at least one piece of data such as marital status and/or identity document and at least one piece of personal biometric data, the method being characterized by implementing steps that comprise: for each vehicle, acquiring an identifier of the means of transport or travel, and biometric data of at least one passenger in the vehicle; for each passenger for which biometric data has been acquired, determining whether said passenger is recorded in the first data set linked with the vehicle; if a passenger is not recorded in the first data set linked with the vehicle, verifying that the passenger is recorded in said set linked with another vehicle or, failing that, that said passenger is recorded in the second data set; and, in accordance with the result of the verification carried out, updating the first data set such that said set includes biometric data of the passenger linked with the vehicle. The invention relates to a method for validating a biometrical acquisition, mainly the acquisition of a body imprint of a body area such as fingerprints or a face imprint, wherein the method involves together with the biometric acquisition: lighting the body area using at least one radiation having at least two respective different wavelengths between approximately 500 nm and 1150 nm; taking at least two reflectometry measurements concerning said and at least two wavelengths for measuring the reflection index of the tissues for these wavelengths; calculating the ratio for two measured indices; and comparing the ratio with a range of reference values characterizing a haemoglobin-containing living tissue in terms of proportions of oxygenated and non-oxygenated forms characteristic of the living states for the wavelengths in question; if the ratio is included in said range, the body area is considered as living and the biometrical acquisition is validated; and conversely, if the body area is considered as not living, the biometrical acquisition cannot be validated.
