The general field of the invention is that of helicopter cockpit display systems. The system according to the invention comprises at least a first mobile display screen. Depending on the mission and in order to optimize the vision of the external landscape, the mobile screen or screens are moved so that they are either in the field of vision of the pilot, or out of his field of vision. The symbologies displayed are adapted according to the mission and to the position of the screen.

Modular display system for helicopters

The general field of the invention is that of helmet shells made of composite material comprising at least one 'armure' of fabrics impregnated with a resin matrix. Certain parts of the 'armure' are impregnated with a resin matrix comprising an additive adapted to reinforce the mechanical strength of the helmet, the said parts corresponding to the weakest zones of a human head, such as the top of the head or the ears. Preferably, the resin is of the epoxy type and the additive is based on acrylic block copolymers. More precisely, the additive is of the &#x201c;Nanostrength&#xae;&#x201d; brand.

The display device comprises a display screen comprising a bonding surface and a mechanical structure. The display device also comprises a glass protective casing consisting of two sheets of glass and inserts. This protective casing is bonded to the structure beneath the second sheet of glass. The screen is bonded to the inside of the protective casing on only one of the two sheets. The invention proposes a compact protective device for a flat screen which is applied essentially to liquid crystal matrix screens comprising light-emitting diode light. The preferred field of application is that of screens used for aviation.
