An exterior ferrule of an intermediate housing for an aircraft turbine engine, the ferrule made of composite material comprising a downstream annular linking end forming a peripheral groove and intended to receive a complementary linking member provided on one or more nacelle cowls, the ferrule being made from: a first fibrous preform obtained by three-dimensional weaving of yarns and densified by a matrix, the preform defining a drum of the ferrule as well as a structural part of the downstream groove wall; and a second fibrous preform obtained by three-dimensional weaving of yarns and densified by a matrix, the preform defining a base abutting the exterior of the drum defined by the first preform, as well as a structural part of the upstream groove wall.

A process for manufacturing a cylindrical composite component comprises includes producing a fibrous texture in the form of a strip by three-dimensional or multi-layer weaving, winding the fibrous texture on several superimposed lathes on a mandrel with a profile corresponding to that of the component to be manufactured so as to form a fibrous preform, densifying the fibrous preform by a matrix. When the fibrous texture is wound on the mandrel, a web including a fugitive material filled with carbon nanotubes is interposed between the adjacent turns of the fibrous texture.

A vane for a turbine engine includes a body in the form of an aerodynamic profile formed by a shell produced from a composite material formed from a three-dimensional textile of reinforcement fibres consolidated by a hardened resin. The shell forms a pressure surface and a suction surface of the vane connected to each other while forming on one side a leading edge and on the opposite side a trailing edge of the vane, and a core including a core body surrounded by the shell. The core is produced from non-porous plastics material, and the core body is in the form of an aerodynamic profile and delimits at least one closed cavity of the core.
