The watch case comprises a middle cum bezel unit (14,16), a glass (18) secured to the unit and a bell-shaped cap (20). The glass (18) is formed with a heel (28) extending radially towards the periphery of the case. The glass (18) further defines with the bezel-forming portion (16) of the unit a groove (30) by means of which the cap (20) is secured and positioned.

The watch case (1) of this invention includes a caseband-bezel (2) of plastic material overlaid with a metal cap (5). The cap is a metallic leaf formed to match the relief of the bezel (15) and caseband (16) which it overlays. The cap is secured to the caseband-bezel by tabs (50) folded into receptacles (51) provided by the caseband-bezel.

The watch case (1) of this invention includes a caseband-bezel (2) of plastic material overlaid with a metal cap (5). The cap is a metallic leaf formed to match the relief of the bezel (15) and caseband (16) which it overlays. The cap is secured to the caseband-bezel by glue preferably located in a receptacle (33) provided within the thickness of the caseband and extending at least partially along the periphery of said caseband.

The bracelet of this invention, having metallic links (11, 12), includes hinge knuckles (17) of plastic material at its ends. Such hinge knuckles (17) permit, in particular, the avoidance of premature wear of the case (1) especially when the latter is of relatively soft material, for example plastic.

An electro-acoustic device for an alarm watch includes a lever moved by an oscillating electromagnetic field created by an electromagnet to vibrate a moving element or glass of the watch and produce a sound. The glass is elastically mounted on a sealing ring of the watch. The lever is mounted by one end to the watch and includes a tapered part adjacent the one end which is elastically deformable thereat so that a free end of the lever opposite the one end may vibrate and its fundamental frequency in response to the oscillating electromagnetic field. The free end of the lever carries a stem coupling the lever to the glass and transmitting the oscillating motion of the lever to the glass, which vibrates on the elastic ring to produce the sound.

Electro-acoustic device for alarm watch

An electric switch for connecting one or more of a plurality of leads on one side of an insulating substrate to a lead on the other side of the substrate. The switch includes a conductive contact member having a pin rotatably engaged in a hole in the substrate. The pin having a first end extending out of the first side of the substrate and having a head eccentrically connected thereto. The pin of the contact member is electrically connected to a lead on a second side of the substrate. Means are provided on the contact member for rotating the contact member head between the plurality of leads selectively to contact one or more of the leads on the first substrate side with the head to electrically connect the selected lead through the pin with the lead on the second substrate side.
