A diffusion cell is described that includes a receiver compartment and a tightening ring intended to be positioned above the receiver compartment in such a way that a membrane sample, such as a sample of a skin, can be arranged between the receiver compartment and the tightening ring. The cell further includes means for tightening by rotation of the tightening ring on the receiver compartment. Uses of such a diffusion cell, in particular for evaluating the penetration capacity of a compound of interest contained in an aerosol formulation, are also described. These uses can be applicable in an occlusive patch or semi-occlusive patch or in a formulation under occlusive or semi-occlusive conditions in the skin. The uses can also be implemented to evaluate the capacity of an aerosol formulation, an occlusive or semi-occlusive patch or a formulation under occlusive or semi-occlusive conditions to deliver a compound of interest through the skin.

Pharmaceutical cream-gel compositions useful for the treatment of a variety of dermatological conditions, disorders and afflictions, in particular of rosacea, contain at least one avermectin compound active principle, and which also contain an oily phase dispersed in an aqueous phase by means of a non-surfactant polymeric emulsifier, the oily phase comprising oils having a melting point below 30&#xb0; C. and being free of solid fats having a melting point above 30&#xb0; C., formulated into a physiologically acceptable medium therefor.

Dermatological cream-gels containing avermectin compounds

A combination of compounds for treating skin diseases and particularly rosacea and ocular rosacea is described. The combination of a compound of the avermectin family or of the mylbemycin family with a compound of the family of the alpha-1 or alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonists is also described. In addition, a product in the form of a kit including: (a) a first composition containing a compound of the avermectin family or of the mylbemycin family, and (b) a second composition different from the first one and containing a compound of the family of the alpha-1 or alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonists, as a combination product to be used as a drug for treating and/or preventing skin diseases and particularly rosacea and ocular rosacea, wherein said first and second compositions can be applied simultaneously, separately or with a time delay is described.

Combination of compounds for treating or preventing skin diseases

Topically applicable dermatological/cosmetic compositions suited for ungual/peri-ungual administration for the treatment of a variety of pathologies, including fungal pathologies, such as onychomycosis, contain (a) at least one biologically active agent (e.g., antifungal) and (b) at least two of the pro-penetrating agents selected from the group consisting of urea, an organic acid and an ethoxydiglycol, the at least two-pro-penetrating agents respectively being present in effective amounts as to synergistically improve the ungual/peri-ungual bioavailability of the at least one biologically active agent.
