Example embodiments relate to receptacle assemblies with gaskets. One example includes a receptacle assembly for a luminaire system. The receptacle assembly includes a receptacle and a gasket. The receptacle has a front side and a rear side. The front side is configured for receiving electrical contacts of an external module. The rear side is configured for extending in an opening of a housing, preferably a luminaire housing, and for being electrically connected to components in the housing. The gasket is configured for being located between the receptacle and the housing on which the receptacle is to be mounted. The receptacle assembly is provided with an indicator means at a location which is visible when the receptacle is mounted on the housing.

Example embodiments relate to connection modules for luminaires. One example connection module for a luminaire with a light module includes a support. The connection module also includes a surge protection circuitry arranged on the support. Additionally, the connection module includes a first and second supply terminal for connection to a power supply. The first and second supply terminal are connected to the surge protection circuitry. Further, the connection module includes a first and second load terminal for connection to a drive means of the light module. The first and second load terminal are connected to the surge protection circuitry. In addition, the connection module includes at least a first and second control terminal. A connection line for electrically connecting the first and second control terminals is arranged on the support.

A luminaire control system comprising a plurality of luminaire heads and a remote device; wherein each luminaire head comprises: a sensor assembly for measuring at least one tilt angle for an angular positioning of the luminaire head, and a control module for controlling the sensor assembly to perform measurements during a first period upon activation of the luminaire head after installation thereof on a mounting base, and for controlling communication such that measurement data from said first period and an identification of the luminaire head is communicated to the remote device; wherein the remote device is configured to determine position information data for each luminaire head, based on the received measurement data, indicating whether the luminaire head is positioned correctly; and the luminaire control system further comprising at least one notification module for receiving the position information data from the remote device and for notifying a field operator accordingly.
