A message reminder system, to perform operations that include: causing display of a presentation of a message addressed to a user, at a first position among a message feed of the user at a client device; receiving a request to open the message from the user of the client device, the request including a timestamp; detecting a trigger event based on at least the timestamp of the request to open the message, the trigger event comprising event attributes; generating a notification to be applied to the presentation of the message, the notification based on at least the event attributes of the trigger event; moving the presentation of the message from the first position among the message feed to a second position among the message feed; and applying the notification to the presentation of the message.

Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for customizing a capture button used during video recording. The program and method provide for determining that a user of an application has access to exclusive features within the application, customizing a capture button for replacing display of a shutter button during video recording; displaying a first user interface for user selection of the capture button from among plural available capture buttons; receiving user input provided selecting the capture button from among the plural available capture buttons; displaying a second user interface for presenting real-time image data captured by a camera, the second user interface including the shutter button which is user-selectable to initiate video recording in response to second user input; and replacing, upon detecting the second user input, display of the shutter button with the selected capture button.

Systems, devices, methods, instructions stored on media, and other embodiments for a camera interface are described. One embodiment is a method of providing audio input feedback during content capture using a camera, which can involve initiating capture of a piece of content in response to a capture input touch action received at a camera interface on a touchscreen display of the computing device and then processing data from a microphone of the computing device to identify an audio stream associated with the piece of content. An audio quality score is determined from the audio stream, and a feedback signal is displayed on the touchscreen display of the computing device while the capture input touch action is ongoing and associated with capture of the piece of content.

Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for providing reduced availability modes in messaging. The program and method provide for maintaining a count of consecutive time periods in which message content has been exchanged between a first user and a second user in a messaging application; receiving, from a device associated with the first user, a request to set an availability mode for the first user to a reduced availability mode with respect to the messaging application; setting, in response to receiving the request, the availability mode for the first user to the reduced availability mode; and refraining from updating the count while the availability mode is set to the reduced availability mode.
