Method for generating at least one mosaic of content-transport streams, said method comprises the following steps after displaying a screen including at least a first area (Z) intended for displaying a mosaic and a second area (Z) comprising a content identifier list: a/ detecting a command for selecting an identifier from a list coming from a user control interface; b/ modifying the screen definition (E) by adding a mosaic element (Em) showing the stream representing the content identified by the selected identifier in the first area (Z); c/ transmitting the screen definition data to the display device for displaying the modified screen.

Generation of a customizable TV mosaic

The present invention consists of a method for managing the consistency of service lists broadcasted by a digital television network, the service lists containing parameters corresponding to each broadcasted services and being received in a television receiver and stored in a memory, wherein, it comprises the step of the method wherein it comprises the step of triggering a consistency check between said at least one customized list of services and the downloaded update of a list of services available to the receiver, the moment for triggering being chosen by an application in said receiver, so as not to disrupt receiver use by said check. The invention can be used in the field of digital television. The invention concerns also the receiver using the method.

Method and receiver for managing the consistency of service lists in digital television

The invention reduces the time required for automatically searching for channels on a device receiving channels of various widths. The invention proposes a channel detection process which carries out successive passes with frequency spacings corresponding to channels of a specific width. During each pass, only the channels corresponding to the specific width are searched for. The invention also pertains to a multichannel reception device comprising the means required for the operation of the process.
