A driving seat comprises a base and a back rest forming a support structure. The back rest is articulated onto the base about an axis of inclination of the back rest to provide an adjustable back rest inclination angle. The base comprises a rear base panel of fixed inclination and a front base panel with an adjustable base inclination angle relative to the rear base panel. The back rest comprises a lower back rest panel and an upper back rest panel with an adjustable raising angle relative to the lower back rest panel. In operation, the back rest inclination angle, the base inclination angle and the raising angle are adjustable to adapt the configuration of the seat to a working configuration, a standby configuration, a rest configuration or a crash configuration.

An aircraft seat includes a seat bucket that is integral by its seatback with a single beam oriented along an axis that is approximately perpendicular to the aircraft floor, which beam is integral with fastening points located on at least two separate lines on the aircraft floor.

A seat having a bucket and a supporting structure on which the bucket is fixed. The height of the bucket on the supporting structure is adjustable. A lower sub-assembly of the supporting structure forms a seat subframe and of which at least one bucket support is mounted movable in height following at least one lower guide rail. An upper sub-assembly of the supporting structure is assembled movable in rotation relative to the lower sub-assembly around a pivot axis which is situated close to a lower end of the lower guide rails and situated close to a lower end of the upper sub-assembly. The bucket is fixed to the bucket support in an articulated manner at the seat base and has at least one guide element fixed to the backrest and sliding in an upper guide rail of the upper sub-assembly situated above the lower guide rails.

An energy absorber () to limit an acceleration force experienced by a heavy body, such as an occupant of a seat subjected to the acceleration of an aircraft crash, comprises a winding drum () mounted in rotation around a shaft (), around which a traction line () is wound. The shaft is coupled mechanically to a brake () that immobilizes the shaft () in rotation when a torque applied to the shaft by the traction line is less than the maximum brake torque that can be generated by the brake and that when the shaft () is in rotation generates a torque that is approximately constant and equal to the maximum brake torque. A control element () acting on the brake () makes it possible to modify the value of the maximum brake torque and thus to adapt the energy absorber to the mass of the heavy body to maintain an acceleration experienced at a desired value for different masses.

A seat-floor assembly for a vehicle comprises a floor element and at least one monobeam seat fixed to the floor element by a beam. A seat cushion and a seat backrest fixed to the beam. The floor element comprises a stiffened panel structure, one face of which forms a top sole of at least one floor crossmember. The floor element further comprises a housing receptacle open on the top sole and fixed to the top sole and/or to the at least one floor crossmember. At least one monobeam seat is fixed to the beam. An aircraft fuselage comprises a floor with such seat-floor assemblies and reinforced by the structure of the floor elements.

A seat for a vehicle, that includes a headrest with a headstall for supporting the head of a passenger in the seat, wherein the occupant may or may not wear a protection helmet depending on the circumstances. The headstall can assume at least three stable positions: a first position for the cervical support of the head of the seat passenger in which the headrest provides a cervical support function with or without wearing a helmet; a second position for the occipital support of the head of the seat passenger in which the headrest provides an occipital support function without wearing a helmet; a third position for the occipital support of the head of the seat passenger in which the headrest provides an occipital support function while wearing a helmet.

Multimodal headrest for vehicle seat

A convertible seat, e.g., for an aircraft, including a fixed structure and a mobile structure, including a seat bottom, a seat back, a leg rest and, optionally, a leg rest extension. The different elements of the mobile structure are mechanically connected to each other, and to the fixed structure, to automatically move the mobile structure between a first extreme seat type posture and a second extreme bed type posture, passing through given ergonomically comfortable intermediate postures, using a single control. This control may be a manual control or a motorized control.
