An in-line roller skate including a chassis of which one longitudinal lower portion carries the wheels, on the one hand, and a boot formed by a shell overlying a sole adapted to be fixed on an upper plate of the chassis, on the other hand, the volume of the upper being in communication with the outside so as to obtain the internal ventilation thereof by an air supply, wherein it includes air passages interposed between an external collecting zone and the internal volume of the shell, these air passages being constituted by a ventilation chamber provided beneath an internal plantar support of the boot and communicating with the internal volume of the shell.

Roller skate

A frame of an in-line skate of the type constituted of a main body that includes a transverse base equipped with at least one front support surface for the boot and one rear support surface for the boot, each of these forming a U-shaped front platform and a rear platform by extending downwardly, either by two lateral projecting parts on which are attached two parallel independent flanges adapted to receive a series of wheels, or directly by the flanges when these flanges form a one-piece element with an upper transverse connecting portion, wherein the front and rear support surfaces of the boot are connected together by an intermediate arch in order to constitute an anti-torsion base for the frame and an element for transmitting forces.

A skating boot adapted to be affixed to a chassis, the boot including a flexible, at least partially padded upper, shaped to envelope the foot and the lower leg, and a reinforcing portion including at least one rigid sole connected to the chassis and a heel reinforcement. The flexible upper includes a front foot covering portion having a rear scallop at least in the heel zone. A rear cuff, independent of the covering portion, includes a heel enveloping portion and a rising portion to envelope the lower leg. The front foot covering portion and the rear cuff are assembled detachably to form a flexible upper whose length can be adjusted. The boot is adaptable to a variety of sizes and foot morphologies, while ensuring a uniform enveloping and the same level of comfort, regardless of the adjustment length adopted.

A sports boot, particularly for gliding sports, of the type including a rigid sole, an external upper, and a removal liner, the external upper including a first portion made of a rigid and substantially non-flexible material including at least one heel stiffener; a second portion, attached to the first portion and/or to the sole, made of a substantially rigid and flexible material; a third portion attached to the second portion and made of a flexible material. The second portion includes a collar adapted to at least partially surround the user's ankle, and a vamp. The third portion includes a saddle attached to the vamp, and on which a device for tightening the forefoot is arranged. The third portion can also include two flaps attached to the collar, and on which a tightening device is arranged.

Sports boot with variable rigidity

A boot adapted to the practice of skating and a method of manufacturing such boot, the boot including a shell base equipped with a rigid sole adapted to be attached on the frame of a skate and a heel reinforcement part, and a flexible liner that is positioned inside the shell base including of a padded upper part surrounding the foot and at least one outer pocket portion. The shell base according to the invention has a rigid collar portion that extends the heel reinforcement and the pocket portion at least partially covers the collar portion so as to ensure at least partially the retention of the flexible liner in the shell base. The invention relates to a boot structure encompassing the essential functions of foot retention and controlled flexibility, and whose assembly is made easier.

Boot of the type including a rigid frame including of at least one rigid sole portion and a heel reinforcement affixed to the sole, and including an upper that is at least partially flexible, wherein it includes a part forming a cover that takes the shape of at least a portion of the rigid frame and is intended to is pulled on over at least the portion of the frame, the cover being equipped with connecting elements to the rigid frame. Advantageously, the boot includes a liner affixed to the part forming the cover, the outer wall of the liner constituting the inner wall of the part forming the cover.

Elbow and knee protector

An in-line skate frame that has a main body with a transverse base equipped with at least one support surface at the toe of the boot, one support surface at the heel of the boot, two projecting lateral portions that extend the transverse base downward, and two flange portions which are adapted to receive a series of wheels. The flange portions are independent attached elements connected to the projecting lateral portions of the main body. The two projecting lateral portions each have at least one fitting formed by a groove serving as the housing of at least one zone of each flange portion, each groove being bordered by an outer wall of the projecting lateral portion and by a bracing portion common to both grooves, laterally spaced apart from one another. A frame of this type has improved properties of strength and flexural and torsional rigidity, while being simple and economical to assemble.

A sport boot with an upper and a shell base journalled on axles has at least one reinforcement element of the shell base. The reinforcement element has an abutment zone capable of cooperating with a retractable support element which, fixedly positioned on the upper, makes it possible to block the upper in its pivoting about axles as early as its initial position or after a certain bending, and to thus transmit the forces of the upper to the shell base.

An alpine ski boot having a shell base provided with an external sole topped by an upper that is provided with a central and/or anterior opening for the passage of the skier's foot and which forms, at its upper portion, a collar adapted to encircle the lower part of the leg with at least one tensioning member positioned on transverse flaps. The boot is composed of two main parts that are constituted, on the one hand, by the shell base having a longitudinal opening at its upper portion and made of a relatively rigid material and, on the other hand, by a single opening-closing element attached and fixed on a periphery of the upper longitudinal opening of the shell base, this element itself having, all in one piece, a first substantially vertical portion forming the upper, and a substantially horizontal second portion obtained in the extension of the first and forming an upper cuff for holding the foot, the assembly thus formed being obtained in a relatively less rigid material than that of the shell base.

Two-part ski boot

A ski boot comprising an upper (44) jointed (5) to the shell base (6) and a stiffness-adjustment device (12) which incorporates two support elements (13, 14) connected by a connection member (15) and is associated with a rear support stop (10) incorporated into the upper (44). One (13) of the support elements (13, 14) of the stiffness-adjustment device (12) is rigidly linked to the rear support stop (10) on a common axis of rotation (16) in order to form a rotating assembly (10-13), and the element (13) and the stop (10) are both moved out of center on the same side and by the same value in relation to the axis of rotation (16). The invention makes it possible to adjust the angle of forward motion of the upper (44) without affecting the forward motion-adjustment device (12) by simple rotation of the rotating assembly (10-13).

Ski boot

Front- and/or central-entry ski boot equipped with a comfort sock (3) and having an upper/collar (4) made adjustable over the lower leg by transverse flaps (1) and closure systems (13). The upper (4, 44) is jointed around an axis (5) on the shell base (6) in the area of the malleoli and can pivot only in the forward direction, since a permanent stop-motion arrangement (14) on the shell base (6) prevents it from pivoting rearwardly. The shell base (6) incorporates, in the dorsal area of the heel (16), a vertical groove (17) open at the top and designed to allow passage of the rear-most point (20) of the heel (22) of the skier's foot when the boot is put on and removed, by deformation of the comfort sock (3) at that site, and a retractable flap (18), jointed by its lower part (19) to the shell base (6) in the area of the heel, closes this groove (17) in the skiing position of the boot by virtue of the action exerted on an actuating device (35) which also tightens it against the rear part of the skier's leg via the interposed comfort sock (3).

Sport boot incorporating a shell base (1) surmounted by an upper (2) adjustable on the wearer's lower leg and comprising an immobilization device (4) functioning in and in relation to the upper (2). The immobilization device (4) comprises a rotating shim (6) on a pin (7), this shim extending on the inner wall (16) of the upper (2) and in proximity to the upper edge (12) thereof. The shim (6) is provided with a projection (8) which, depending on the angular position thereof, retracts into a recess (14) in the upper (2) or protrudes onto the wall (16) of the latter. The immobilization device (4) makes possible the effective adaptation of the upper (2) to the morphology of the wearer's lower leg.
