In order to counter the effects of the Earth's gravitational force on the operation of a watch movement, the timepiece includes an escapement mechanism designed to drive a finish gear-train of a watch movement which defines a reference plane, and a balance co-operating with the escapement mechanism. Particularly, the balance is mounted in a frame (), said frame pivoting about a first axis (AA, CC) relative to the reference plane, and the orientation of the frame () relative to the first axis (AA, CC) depends on the orientation of the Earth's gravitational force.

The invention relates to a mechanical timepiece with a jumping second hand (), consisting of a barrel, a first gear train which is driven by the barrel and which comprises a minute wheel () and a second wheel (), an escapement which is actuated by the gear train and a regulating element, the oscillations of said regulating element being maintained by the escapement. Moreover, the aforementioned escapement comprises an escapement wheel () which performs a revolution in 4 seconds by means of jumps. For the purpose of the jumping second function, the inventive piece comprises a second gear train, the first mobile () thereof being mounted to the arbor of the escapement wheel () and the last mobile () of same being mounted to the arbor bearing the hand ().

The invention relates to a tourbillon () comprising a main bearing (). A first bearing () of the balance axle () rotates with the platform () of the tourbillon (), and a second bearing () of the balance axle () is arranged in a fixed manner.

Tourbillon

The invention relates to a timepiece displaying the day of the month, characterized by the fact that said timepiece comprises two rotating disks (), which at least partly overlap and respectively display the digits and articles of the day of the month. Said two rotating disks () are provided with the series of numberstoand the series of numbers, all of which are evenly distributed across a peripheral ring, and are disposed such that the numbers of one disk are displayed so as to be juxtaposed to the numbers of the other disk. The inventive timepiece also comprises a mechanism () driving the rotating disks in order for the juxtaposed numbers to indicate the day of the month.

The invention relates to a timepiece consisting of a main plate () having the following components mounted thereto: a time base which is formed by a tourbillon () comprising a rotatable frame, which appears in an opening () in the dial () thereof; and time information display means which are controlled from the time base. The aforementioned display means comprise a rotatable ring () which appears in the opening () in the dial, co-axially around the frame, and ring drive means.
