The present invention relates to a protection device () intended to at least partially cover the needle () of an injection device, comprising: a support () of the protection device (), a sleeve () movable axially in translation with respect to the support (), an arrangement () for returning the sleeve () from an injection position to a protection position, an axial guidance arrangement () for preventing the sleeve () from pivoting with respect to the support (), one peg () directly and at least elastically, coupled longitudinally to the support () or the sleeve () and housed in a passageway () defining a first section () and a second section () followed by the peg () from a storage position to the injection position and then to the protection position, and a safety arrangement () part of which being elastically deformable, arranged in a way as to prevent the peg from returning from the second section to the first section. The invention also relates to packaging () for the device.

An adaptor for coupling with a medical container, including: a tubular body receiving a pierceable elastomeric piece, defining an inner cavity of the adaptor, the pierceable elastomeric piece being movable within the tubular body between a first position, in which a distal part of the pierceable elastomeric piece forms a seal of the cavity, and a second position, proximally spaced from the first position, in which the distal part opens the seal of the cavity, an air inlet, a filtering system for filling the inner cavity with decontaminated air, and a gripping member for securing the adaptor to the medical container. An intradermal injection device comprising a unitary body having an open distal end and a proximal end having a skin engaging surface defined thereon, a reservoir defined between the proximal and distal ends for accommodating a drug substance, and a channel defined at the proximal end of the unitary body and extending through, and distally from, the skin engaging surface to the reservoir. A needle cannula having a sharpened proximal end and a distal end may be provided in the channel. The needle cannula is secured in the channel with the distal end being in communication with the reservoir and the proximal end of the needle cannula extending from the skin engaging surface a distance in the range of about 0.5 mm to 3.0 mm such that the skin engaging surface limits penetration of the proximal end of the needle cannula to the dermis layer of the skin of a patient.

Intradermal injection device

The present invention relates to an injection assistance device including a body with a needle, grasping arrangement and first elastic return arrangement to dampen limited movement of the grasping arrangement, in at least one of the two directions, respectively distal or proximal, during an injection phase, and to maintain the body in its insertion position and the needle at a constant insertion length during the injection step, when the user increases, respectively releases, a distal pressure on the grasping arrangement. A prefilled ready-to-use syringe, including a tubular body having, at its distal end, a tip to take a needle and, at its proximal end, a flange, a piston able to slide inside the tubular body and defining, with the tubular body, an internal working volume at least partially filled with a liquid, a rod for actuating the piston extending beyond the proximal end of the tubular body, characterized in that a rigid cover is attached and fixed in a definitive way to the flange and has a central opening for the free translational passage of the actuating rod, and the said cover forms a stop for the actuating rod in the proximal direction, and a plug is arranged to translate freely in the tubular body between the piston and the proximal end of the body, the plug being resistant to puncturing with a needle.

Pre-filled syringe with anti-tamper cap

A medical device is provided which includes a shield system and a syringe which is coupled to the shield system. The shield system includes a syringe holder and a shield which is slidably coupled to the holder. A spring resiliently urges the shield from a retracted position to an extended position. Stop members are provided on the holder and shield for maintaining the shield in the retracted position. The syringe is slidably coupled to the holder, and extends within the shield. Axial movement of the syringe with respect to the holder causes disengagement of the stop members, allowing the spring to move the shield to the extended position. Detents are provided on the holder for maintaining the shield in the extended position.

Safety shield system for prefilled syringe

A medical device includes a syringe assembly and a shield system for delivering medicament to a patient. The syringe assembly includes a barrel defining a medicament reservoir, and a needle cannula coupled to the barrel and in fluid communication with the reservoir. The shield system has a hub coupled to the syringe barrel, a shield movably arranged on the hub, the shield being movable from a first position disposed from the needle cannula tip to a second position during insertion of the needle into a patient and movable from the second position to a third position covering the needle cannula tip after the needle cannula is removed from the patient. An urging member urges the shield to the third position upon removal of the needle cannula from the patient. A cover sleeve connected to the needle barrel surrounds the hub and the urging member.
