A method for detecting piloting conflicts between the crew and the autopilot of an aircraft. According to the method, an automatic trajectory is programmed by checking whether the actual values of navigation parameters converge on said corresponding desired values within a predetermined convergence period; in the case where at least one of the actual values does not converge, within the convergence period, on the corresponding desired value, a predictive calculation is carried out, at consecutive future moments, of the value of at least one particular parameter selected amongst the navigation parameters; and in the case where the predicted value of the particular parameter is higher than a corresponding predefined threshold, an alarm is emitted for the crew of the aircraft to notify them about a piloting conflict being able to jeopardize the flight safety of the aircraft. Method and device for detecting piloting conflicts between the crew and the autopilot of an aircraft

A method and a device are provided for detecting lack of reaction of the crew of an aircraft to an alarm related to a path. The method includes monitoring the emitting condition of a plurality of alarms related to dangers in the path of the aircraft and monitoring a reaction of a crew during first and second time intervals determined based on how long the crew should take to response to the initial alarm in the first time interval and an auxiliary alarm in the second time interval. The method also includes implementing automatic avoidance operation for coping with the danger if the crew has not reacted to the alarms by the end of the second time interval.

Method and a device for detecting lack of reaction from the crew of an aircraft to an alarm related to a path

A system configured for viewing meteorological data and generating said alerts in an aircraft. The system includes a navigation screen configured to display meteorological data in a monitoring plane at a determined altitude (Zs), and an altitude determination unit configured to determine the current altitude (Zp) of the aircraft. A processor is configured to determine the difference in altitude (Dz) between the aircraft's current altitude (Zp) and the altitude of the monitoring plane (Zs). The determined altitude difference (Dz) is compared with a first predetermined deviation threshold (S), and a first alert (A) is emitted under conditions in which the altitude difference (Dz) attains or exceeds the first predetermined deviation threshold (S) and the altitude difference (Dz) diverges.

Method and system for meteorological monitoring aboard an aircraft

A method for monitoring the flight of an aircraft using two navigation screens respectively dedicated to a pilot and to a copilot of the aircraft is provided. The method includes displaying on the screens, depending on the choice of the pilot and the copilot, at least information relating to the following of terrain by the aircraft or information relating to meteorological conditions that the aircraft encounters during the flight, triggering at least one warning representative of hazardous meteorological conditions detected by the meteorological radar and liable to be encountered by the aircraft while the navigation screens of the pilot and copilot simultaneously are displaying the terrain-following information, wherein the at least one warning is triggered when the information relating to the hazardous meteorological conditions is located in a predetermined volume relative to the aircraft, and displaying the warning on at least one of the navigation screens.

Method for monitoring the flight of an aircraft

A device for managing a rest period, in flight, of a pilot in a cockpit of an airplane including parameter acquisition means, for acquiring one input parameter characteristic of a desired rest period by the pilot who wishes to have a rest, calculations means intended for calculating, from the current position of the airplane given by the airplane parameters, a future position of the airplane at the end of the desired rest period along a trajectory programmed from the input parameters and airplane parameters, means for displaying information on the rest period and or on the position of the airplane.

Device for rest management for aircraft pilot

A device for managing an awakening phase, in flight, of a pilot in the cockpit of an airplane, following a rest period, to guarantee his or her return to a state estimated compatible with flying operations, also called state of vigilance, wherein it includes management means for inducing progressive physical stimuli for generating an awareness by the resting pilot that his or her rest period is over, starting a procedure in the form of actions to be carried out by the pilot, means for displaying the procedure drawn up by the management means. The management device includes a warning device in case a state of hypo-vigilance is detected in the pilot, which is activated when the pilot is assumed to be in a state of vigilance.
