The invention relates to a monitoring system for an aircraft platform implementing a set of avionics functions using a plurality of heterogeneous hardware and software components, including: an acquisition module for operating parameters of the components, configured to implement a plurality of communication protocols adapted to query each the component; a storage module including a database, configured to collect and store operating parameters acquired by the acquisition module in the database, and; an interface module with a plurality of clients, including a query unit configured to query the database of the storage module and supply one or several of the parameters stored in the database in response to a request made by a client; the acquisition, storage and interface modules being arranged in a three-tier architecture.

In a method relating to an engine with n cylinders, fuel is injected in a predetermined order into the cylinders in a manner which is synchronized with the position of the pistons of the engine. The method includes the following steps after start-up: injection into m cylinders in a predetermined order of injection; measurement of engine speed and/or acceleration; continuation of injection in a predetermined order of injection if engine speed and/or acceleration exceed(s) a predetermined threshold; continuation of injection with a delay in the event of the contrary. Method of controlling the start-up of an internal combustion engine

This method is intended for a turbocharged internal combustion engine having an electrically controlled throttle valve. The turbocharger has a waste gate for regulating its pressure. The position of the valve and the extent to which the gate is open are controlled according to two distinct modes of operation. In the first mode, the position of the valve is predetermined as a function of engine control and operating parameters, and the position of the gate is used to regulate the air flow rate. In the second mode, the extent to which the gate is open is predetermined as a function of engine control and operating parameters, and the position of the valve is used to regulate the air flow rate. Which mode is used is gauged by an electronic device which chooses the mode of operation to be implemented as a function of predetermined conditions stored in memory.

Method and device for controlling the airflow supplied to an internal combustion engine

A method for controlling a valve lift device associated with an internal combustion engine includes determining, according to maps, a relative timing angle to be applied to a camshaft and crankshaft. The determined timing angle is processed with a PID-type control. Each time an engine enters a stabilized low idle speed, a reference value of the timing angle is determined when a valve lift device is inactivated. The reference value is taken into consideration when any later timing angle command is given. At least one further step is included. For example, a map of a duty cycle for an opening of a hydraulic valve controlled by the PID of the valve lift device is pre-established on a test bed as a function of an engine water temperature, and/or the timing angle to be applied as a function of the engine water temperature is adjusted by modifying the reference value.
