An impeller is provided for a pump unit, in particular for a waste water pump unit, having two cover plates (), which are spaced apart from one another in the axial direction (X) and are connected to one another by at least one connecting element (). The impeller has at least one blade () which is arranged between the two cover plates () and extends from an inner diameter of the impeller to an outer diameter of the impeller. The blade () has a continuous slot (), which extends from the edge () of the blade () which is situated at the inner diameter to the edge () of the blade () which is situated at the outer diameter. A pump unit is also provided having an impeller of this type.

Impeller for a pump unit and associated pump unit

The invention relates to a method for controlling several pumps in a pump sump, with which each pump comprises a switch which switches on the pump and each pump after its running is first blocked and depending on the running of the further pumps in the pump sump is released again. The invention further relates to a pump for carrying out this method.

Method for controlling several pumps

The invention relates to a method for detecting a differential pressure or for correcting a pressure value detected in the fluid on the basis of a pressure of a surrounding medium, wherein at a first point in time the pressure of the surrounding medium is detected and at a later, second point in time the pressure of the fluid is detected, and the pressure value detected in the fluid is corrected on the basis of the pressure of the surrounding medium. The invention furthermore relates to a pump system with a level sensor in which this method is applied, as well as to the use of a pressure sensor in such a pump system.

Method for detecting a differential pressure

An impeller for a pump used for pumping liquid substances, such as waste water, said impeller containing at least one flow channel of a spatially curved shape, wherein the flow channel is of an evenly curved shape and, in the final portion of the channel, the flow channel meets itself, or another channel if the impeller has more than one flow channel. By using the impeller of the invention, a very high efficiency is achieved.
