A valve for a landing packer in a petroleum well. The landing packer is provided with a passage between an upper face and a lower face, and the valve is adapted to close the passage. The valve comprises a biased valve body adapted to be displaced between a first position and a second position. The valve body is adapted to receive a tool from above. The valve body is adapted to be displaced from a first position to a second position by a downward force executed by the tool. It is also described a tool comprising a leading end adapted to abut fluid tightly the biased valve body and the tool is adapted to displace the biased valve body between the first closed position and the second open position. It is also described a method for plugging the A-annulus in a petroleum well.

System and method for permanent plugging of a petroleum well

A circulation unit for connecting to a lubricator suitable for housing a wireline operated tool string for collecting debris within a petroleum well. The circulation unit comprises a house with an upper lubricator connection and at least one lower internal seal member adapted to seal against an outer surface of the tool string. The circulation unit has an outlet above the seal member, the outlet being connected to a reservoir. The circulation unit has a lower lubricator connection. The house, upper lubricator connection and lower lubricator connection form a through passage for the tool string. The upper lubrication connection and lower lubrication connection are adapted for connection to a pressurized lubricator. The tool string includes a wellbore cleanout tool with filling means. The wellbore cleanout tool comprises an outlet for unloading collected debris in a lubricator assembly comprising the lubricator and the circulation unit.

A dump bailer for being filled with a flowable material in a lubricator assembly and for depositing the flowable material in a wellbore, wherein the dump comprises a filling valve for filling flowable material into the dump bailer and a means for orientation of the dump bailer along a longitudinal axis. The invention also relates to a lubricator assembly configured to allow filling a flowable material into a dump bailer positioned within the lubricator assembly, wherein the lubricator assembly comprises an inlet for injection of flowable material and a guide for providing the dump bailer with a correct position and orientation. The invention further relates to a method for filling a flowable material into a dump bailer positioned within a lubricator assembly and for depositing the flowable material in a wellbore.

The cutting assembly comprises a hole saw assembly. The cutting assembly is resiliently displaceable to the drill bit assembly. The drilling assembly comprises a displaceable membrane within the tubular body. The membrane divides an interior of the tubular body in a receiving compartment and an inner compartment.

Drilling assembly for removal of an obstacle in a conduit

A wireline clean-out tool including a first opening and a second opening at or near a free-end portion. The first opening takes in debris from a wellbore, the second opening ejects fluid into the wellbore. A housing defines a first flow path from the first opening at the free-end portion to an opposite end portion of the housing and a second flow path from the opposite end portion to the second opening at the free-end portion. The flow paths couple with each other at the opposite end portion. A collection chamber is in the first flow path for collecting debris during operation. A progressive cavity pump with hollow rotors is placed inside the housing at a predefined distance from the free-end portion being configured for operating on the first flow path while the hollow rotor forms part of the second flow path.

A method of cleaning production tubing in a producing petroleum well comprising the steps: i) providing collection tool configured for both selectively collecting debris while residing downhole to obtain collected debris as well as selectively releasing collected debris while residing downhole; ii) lowering collection tool to specific location at certain depth into production tubing of the producing petroleum well where there is at least a partial choking of local production flow due to accumulated debris deposited on production tubing; iii) collecting accumulated debris with collection tool to obtain collected debris; iv) pulling collection tool to production zone of production tubing or downstream of production zone where there will be enough production flow during production to ensure lifting capacity for collected debris; and v) releasing collected debris into production zone of production tubing to obtain released debris being lifted by production flow when production is running. The invention leads to time and cost savings during cleaning of production tubing.

The downhole tool comprises: (i) a housing connected with a collection chamber for receiving debris, the housing having an opening for collecting the debris from the petroleum well, the opening in fluid communication with the collection chamber through the housing; (ii) a rotatable shaft with transport blades arranged within the housing and extending from the opening to the collection chamber, the rotatable shaft configured for transporting debris from the opening to the collection chamber in operational use; (iii) an annular area defined between the rotatable shaft and an inner wall of the housing and (iv) a valve configured for keeping debris in the collection chamber. The valve is located within the housing between the opening and the collection chamber. The valve comprises a seal member with a movable part mounted in the annular area and around the rotatable shaft. The valve is opened when the movable part moves in direction of the collection chamber and is configured such that the movable part of the seal member is only movable in the direction towards the collection chamber when closed. The downhole tool provides a valve, which is easily opened, requiring a very small force, while providing a very good sealing effect when the seal member is closed.

The dump bailer () includes a receptacle () which communicates with surroundings through an inlet () and an outlet (), and a pump () positioned in a flow path () between the inlet () and the outlet (). The pump () is positioned at the outlet (), and the pump () during transport of the dump bailer () in the well () constitutes a sealed barrier for the carried material () in the receptacle (). The invention relates to a downhole tool () for use in a casing or tubing () in a well comprising a support () and a brush (). The downhole tool () further comprises a lever arm () having a first end (-) and a second end (-) opposite the first end (-). The lever arm () is pivotably mounted to the support () and the brush () is mounted at the second end (-) of the lever arm (). A driver means is provided for driving the lever arm () outwardly to press the brush against a wall of the casing or tubing () in operational use of the downhole tool (). An advantage of the invention is that one size of the downhole tool may fit all sizes of a casing or tubing. The invention also relates to method of cleaning and honing casings or tubings in a well.
