A light module for a lighting device of a vehicle, in particular for a headlamp, having a light source and an optical element which is accommodated on a support body, and wherein an adjuster is provided for adjusting the optical element to the light source in order to adjust a radiation position of the light source relative to the optical element. The adjuster has a wedge element, which is arranged movably between the support body and the optical element so that when the wedge element is shifted an adjustment of the optical element to the light source can be produced at least in a vertical direction.

An assembly of a decorative trim on the exterior surface of a plastic cover lens of a headlamp. Locking means are molded on the outer side of the plastic cover lens, which extend out in a transverse direction (Y) pointing at an angle from the surface of the plastic cover lens. The decorative trim comprises locking means receivers into which the locking means engage, and at least one snapping means on the decorative trim and one complementary snapping means are provided on the plastic cover lens for securing the decorative trim against the transverse direction (Y).

An assembly comprising a strip on the exterior of a plastic cover lens for a headlamp. Locking means are formed on the exterior of the plastic cover lens, which extend diagonally, in a transverse direction, from the surface of the plastic cover lens, and that the strip is designed as a backing strip and exhibits locking means receivers in which the locking means engage. At least one snapping means is provided on the backing strip and one complementary snapping means is provided on the plastic cover lens in order to secure the backing strip in the transverse direction (Y).

The invention relates to a thermal-expansion compensator for holding a light module in a housing of a headlamp for a motor vehicle, comprising a compensation pin extending along a pin axis with a stop element, wherein the compensation pin can be connected to the housing by means of a connecting means, a compensation element with a compensation body extending along a compensation axis and at least two stop receptacles that are each formed for holding the stop element of the compensation pin, and a holder that is arranged rigidly on the light module.
