A monitor device for connecting to a sensor patch of an ostomy appliance includes a housing, electronic circuitry, a first interface for collecting sensor data from the sensor patch, and a tail portion having a proximal end and a distal end. The tail portion has an electrode extending from the proximal end of the tail portion to a first coupling element on the distal end. The monitor device is adapted to couple mechanically and electrically to the sensor patch of the ostomy appliance for relaying signals from the sensor patch to the monitor device.

A stoma cover includes a hood and an adjustment band. The hood extends between a proximal end and a closed distal end. The adjustment band is connected to the proximal end. The adjustment band allows the hood to adjust between a first open size at the proximal end that is sized for placement over the stoma and a second size that is smaller than the first open size. The second size is adapted to secure the hood relative to a root portion of the stoma. A moisture absorbing material is disposed inside of the hood, where the moisture absorbing material is provided to absorb stomal output exuding from a meatus of the stoma.

An adhesive ostomy element comprising a backing layer () and having at least a first section () and at least a first adhesive () on a surface of said backing layer. In the centre is provided a stoma-receiving through-going hole () defining an inner boundary in said first section and said first section being adjacent to and extending radially from said through-going hole. The first base portion is arranged radially closer to the stoma-receiving opening than the second base portion. The first coupling part comprises an enclosed volume of air (). The enclosed volume of air is enclosed at least in part by the first base portion, the second base portion and the connecting portion.

Embodiments provide a urinary catheter assembly comprising an outer package of gas-impermeable material and an intermittent urinary catheter arranged inside the outer package. The catheter comprises a proximal insertion end, a distal connection end, and a connector at the distal end. The connector defines a distal opening. The catheter assembly further comprises a sleeve of liquid-impermeable material configured to define at least part of a liquid tight enclosure. The enclosure encloses the insertable part of the catheter. The enclosure is closed by a first closure in the proximal end and a second closure in the distal end. The second closure is configured to be opened as the outer package is opened and the first closure is configured to be opened as the catheter and sleeve is removed from the outer package.

To allow a catheter to be removed from the package with or without a protective sleeve, the catheter assembly forms a removal structure configured for at least a first removal procedure and a second removal procedure. An ostomy appliance comprising an adhesive wafer () for attachment to a skin surface of a user. The adhesive wafer includes a backing layer (), an adhesive layer (), and at least one release liner (). The release liner comprises an enclosure () capable of containing a liquid or a wipe (). The enclosure () can be filled with liquid before removal from the wafer, thereby providing a temperature impact on the adhesive. The wipe () can be impregnated with an activating agent for providing an activation of the adhesive prior to use.
