A hearing aid comprising a receiver assembly is disclosed. The receiver assembly includes a housing adapted to accommodate receivers of different geometry and/or size and/or mechanical dimensions and suspension member arranged in the housing. The suspension member comprises vibration dampers protruding from an outer periphery of the suspension member and a plurality of spacers provided at an inner periphery of the suspension member. The plurality of spacers is positioned to arrange and fix one or more cushions or enclosed structures in predefined grooves formed by adjacent spacers in the space between the receiver and the suspension member.

The disclosure relates to an inlet member for a microphone system in a hearing instrument, such as a hearing aid, wherein the inlet member has a main body portion having a first portion and a second portion, the second portion being provided with a first recess for accommodating a microphone comprising a snout for conducting sound energy into the interior of the microphone, wherein the first recess is provided with a sound channel formed for engagement with the snout of the microphone, where the sound channel at the end hereof facing away from the microphone is acoustically coupled to a third recess in the first portion, the third recess being defined by wall portions that provide a seal to corresponding inner surface portions of a hearing instrument, in which the inlet member is mounted.

The chassis comprises a number of attachment members configured to restrict the motion of the printed circuit board in one or more directions. The interface comprises a first group of electrically conducting contact pins extending parallel to each other and being configured to engage with a corresponding plug of the external device provided with plug slots, wherein the interface further comprises a second electrically conducting contact pin extending parallel to the first group of electrically conducting contact pins.
