An antenna unit is configured to transmit and/or receive signals and is connected to transmitting/receiving unit via a signal cable. A control device is configured to adjust signal strength by modifying gain of the control device. A calibration signal is provided by the transmitting/receiving unit and the signal strength of the calibration signal is used to adjust the gain of the control device.

Amplification of received signals in the first and second frequency bands is activated in the absence of a transmission signal in the circuit arrangement in both the first frequency band and the second frequency band. In response to a detection of a transmission signal in the circuit arrangement, the detected transmission signal is checked as to whether the detected transmission signal can be unambiguously assigned to the first frequency band or the second frequency band. If the check reveals that the detected transmission signal cannot be unambiguously assigned to the first frequency band or the second frequency band, a first transmission amplifier path for amplifying the transmission signal in the first frequency band and a first receiving amplifier path for amplifying received signals in the first frequency band are activated.

A circuit arrangement capable of adjusting signal parameters of a plurality of signals that is transmitted between one or more terminals and one or more antennas is provided. The circuit arrangement is configured to separate a common signal path for the plurality of signals into a plurality of individual signal paths, wherein two or more signal paths of the plurality of signal paths are configured to carry different single signals. A signal adjusting section is configured to independently adjusting one or more signal parameters for two or more single signals.

Circuit arrangement and method for adjusting signal parameters

Methods and devices are disclosed for amplifying radio signals between a terminal and an antenna or an antenna connection of a circuit having an amplification unit and a detector unit, which has signal branches designed for different frequency ranges, and a power detector. A transmission signal received by the terminal is divided into at least a first signal part and a second signal part. The first signal part is applied to the signal branches of the detector unit. A frequency range of the first signal part is determined by sequential application of the signal branches of the detector unit to the power detector for evaluating a power of the first signal part. For the second signal part, the signal routing in the amplification unit is adjusted based on the frequency range determined by the detector unit. At least the second signal part is amplified by the amplification unit.

Method and devices for determining a frequency range of a signal to be transmitted

Disclosed are methods and devices for determining a modulation type of a signal using a circuit arrangement. The power is detected for a signal received at the circuit arrangement. This is done by means of N measured values in a measurement window. Based upon the detected power and one or more reference values or reference patterns, e.g., by means of a comparison or a correlation, the modulation type of the signal can be determined from a plurality of modulation types. Disclosed are also methods and devices for configuring an amplification unit of a circuit arrangement, in which the power of a received signal is detected by means of N measured values in a measurement window, and the amplification unit is configured based upon the detected power and one or more reference values or reference patterns.

Method and devices for determining the modulation type of a signal, and configuration of an amplification unit

A circuit arrangement for amplifying radio signals between a terminal device and an antenna and to a corresponding circuit arrangement is disclosed. The circuit arrangement has a transmission amplifier path and a reception amplifier path. A signal power in a first frequency range in the transmitting direction is detected to determine a transmitted signal power and a signal power in a second frequency range in the receiving direction is detected to determine a received signal power. The detected transmitted signal power can be compared with the detected received signal power. If the detected transmitted signal power is stronger than the detected received signal power, the transmission amplifier path can amplify transmitted signals in the first frequency range. If the detected received signal power is stronger than the detected transmitted signal power, the reception amplifier path can amplify received signals in the second frequency range.
