The pane module comprises a pane element composed by glass sheets () and provided with a border element () by molding. The border element is adhered to the pane element during the molding process and at least partially encases the border of at least one sheet element.

Method for making a pane module and a window comprising such a pane module

The pane module is composed by a border element () molded around the pane element () encasing it on the edge and interior faces. The frame may be of a rectangular configuration, but it is to be understood that more complex configurations may be necessary for achieving a water proof connection to the structure in which the window is mounted or to a surrounding window frame. A fitting () is embedded in the border element () during its manufacture and is subsequently or simultaneously connected to the frame (). When using a wooden or extruded frame the fitting may be driven into the finished frame member and when using a molded frame the fitting may be embedded therein during molding.

Window comprising a bordered pane module

The invention relates a method for making a window, where the sash is connected to the frame by a pair of hinges, each comprising a first hinge part connected to the sash and a second hinge part connected to the frame. The sash is made from a plastic material by molding, and that one or more functional elements are attached to the sash during the molding thereof. The functional elements can include a stay arm having a base member, which is attached to the sash bottom member, and the first hinge parts. Also, the frame may be made by molding.

Method for making a window and an opening window

The window for a building structure has a window frame (), a sash () and a pane () including at least one sheet of glass or other glazing material. The sash () is moveable relative to the frame () by means of a hinge connection including a set of frame hinge parts () and a set of sash hinge parts (). The sash () carrying the pane () includes at least a first element () surrounding the pane () and formed as a moulded border element which at least partially encases an edge of the pane (). The first element () has at least one functional face to which the set of sash hinge parts () of the hinge connection is adapted to be connected. The sash () may include further elements () for insulating, covering and/or aesthetical purposes.

The pane element includes at least two sheet elements (), such as sheets of glass, separated by one or more spacer members (). The border element () is made by molding and surrounds the pane element, at least partially encasing the edge of at least one sheet element. In order to provide the pane module with a number of functionalities traditionally performed by the frame, the pane module comprises at least one functional face.

The border element () is made by moulding and surrounds the pane element, at least partially encasing the edge of at least one sheet element. The present invention relates to a drainage system for a roof window including at least one window frame or/and frame having walls, where at least one drainage groove is placed in the walls of the window.
