The invention refers to a method and a press tool for manufacturing of a separating disk adapted to be included in a disk package of a centrifugal separator. The separating disk extends around an axis of rotation and has tapering shape with an inner surface and an outer surface along the axis of rotation. The separating disk is manufactured of a material and comprises a number of distance members in form of pressed protrusions extending away from the inner surface and/or outer surface. A blank of the material is pressed against the first tool part having a shape corresponding to the tapering shape of the pressed separating disk and comprises first form elements having a shape corresponding to the protrusions.

Method and a press tool for manufacturing a separation disk

A separating disk for a disk package of a centrifuge rotor of a centrifugal separator has a tapering shape and extends around an axis of rotation and along a tapering rotary symmetric surface along the axis of rotation. There is an interspace between the separating disk and an adjacent separating disk. The separating disc has first protrusions extending outwardly from the tapering rotary symmetric surface and second protrusions extending inwardly from the tapering rotary symmetric surface. Each of the first and second protrusion are after each other in a peripheral direction and define a contact zone adapted to abut an adjacent separating disk in the disk package. The contact zones of the first protrusions are displaced in relation to the contact zones of the second protrusions seen in a normal direction with regard to the outer surface. Each contact zone has a continuously convex cross sectional shape.

Centrifugal separator separating disc interspace configurations

The invention refers to a disk package for a centrifuge. The disk package comprises a plurality of separating disks provided on each other in the disk package. Each separating disk extends around an axis of rotation for the centrifuge rotor and has tapering shape with an inner surface and an outer surface along the axis of rotation. Each separating disk has inner edge, defining a central opening of the separating disk, and outer edge. Each separating disk is manufactured of a material. The separating disks comprise a plurality of first separating disks comprising a number of distance members, which extend away from the inner surface and/or outer surface. Each distance member comprises at least one contact zone abutting an outer surface and inner surface, respectively, of an adjacent separating disk in the disk package. The contact zone has a continuously convex shape seen in a cross section.

Disk package for a centrifuge rotor

The invention refers to a method and a press tool for manufacturing a separating disk adapted to be included in a disk package of a centrifuge rotor of a centrifugal separator. The separating disk extends around an axis of rotation and has a tapering shape with an inner surface and an outer surface along the axis of rotation. A blank of a material is provided. A central opening is made in the blank. The blank is positioned in a charging position by means of a projecting central portion. The blank is pressed against the first tool part having a shape corresponding to the tapering shape of the separating disk.

A rolling mill machine is for longitudinal bending of plate to selectively provide one of at least two cross-sectional profiles. The machine includes a plurality of shaping stations extending transversely of the plate with at least one drive station for advancing the plate through the plurality of shaping stations. Each of the shaping stations has a first forming element on one side of the plate and a second forming element on the other side of the plate. The first forming element has at least a first set of non-driven forming rolls and a second set of non-driven forming rolls. The second forming element has a plurality of non-driven forming rolls. The first forming element is selectively moveable to position at least one of the first and the second sets thereof for bending of the plate. The rolls of at least one of the first set and the second set are disposed for forming the plate on one side and the rolls of the second forming element are disposed for forming on the other side. The first set of rolls of the first forming element is for cooperating with the rolls of the second forming element to bend the plate to form a first of the cross-sectional profiles while the second set of rolls of the first forming element is for cooperating with the rolls of the second forming element to bend the plate to form a second of the cross-sectional profiles.
