A steering clamper designed for use on a vehicle handlebar connected to a part rotatable about a steering axle coinciding with the center of a steering column. The steering damper comprises an outer housing enclosing a damping-medium-filled main chamber divided into two chambers by a demarcating wing rotatable about a first wing end. The outer face of the wing end rotates in a cutout in the housing. The first wing end is fixed to a first end of a lever which rotates relative to said outer housing. The lever connects, the steering damper rotating with the steering device to the vehicle frame. In the outer housing there is a cavity, the center line of which coincides with the steering axle, designed to accommodate a fastening element which joins the steering damper to the part rotatable about the steering axle.

Steering damper and device for mounting a steering damper

A vane damper, and a method for making the vane damper is disclosed. A casing including a space for at least one rotable vane divides the space into two parts. The spaces are variable because of the vane which rotates within the space. Further, a number of asymmetrical ducts connects the spaces separated by the vane with a gas accumulator space so that a medium within the spaces for damping motion of the vane can expand into the gas accumulator space against the force of a gas. The vane is produced by extruding aluminum or an aluminum containing alloy. The vane is sealed against the surfaces of the space as well as a bearing member supporting the vane.

Method, arrangement and use for and of, respectively, a vane damper

In a front wheel suspension on a motorcycle, the front wheel is mounted in rearward-sloping supporting members which, in turn, are mounted on the chassis of the vehicle by bearing units comprising link elements and a springing function. The supporting member and the wheel are turnable about a steering line which slopes in a corresponding manner to the supporting members. The bearing units form separate upper and lower bearing units, which are provided with bearing units in or about which the supporting members and the wheel are turnable. Preferably, the upper bearing unit of the bearing units acts as a combined bearing and steering linkage member for the supporting members. The bearing units are torsionally rigid in their respective planes, which extend through the respective securement points or bearings of the bearing units in the chassis and the supporting members. The upper bearing unit of the bearing units is arranged compliantly for torsion or turning motions which arise in the bearing unit when the supporting member and hence the wheel are allotted steering or turning motions or assume steering or turning positions which differ from the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.

Front wheel suspension for preferably a motorcycle

A method of producing a vane damper comprising a body including a space for at least one rotatable vane that divides the space into two part spaces that are located on either side of the vane. The spaces are variable because of the rotatability of the vane. The vane is mounted in the body by a bearing member and operates in a working medium that is located in the space. The working medium is transferable between the variable spaces via a passage or at least one throttle function to produce damping. The method includes producing the vane with associated bearing member by extruding aluminum or aluminum-containing alloy. The extruded product is cut for production of the respective vane with associated bearing member. The vane is provided with sealing members for establishing a seal against surfaces of the space and of the bearing member.

A device for grasping and handling generally cylinder sector shaped articles such as pieces of cake or the like, comprises two blade parts (1, 2) and a grip (8, 9) located at one end of these blades. The two blade parts (1, 2) are pivotably connected with each other by means of a hinge (4) located at that end of the blade parts which is opposite to the grip (8, 9).
