A fiber composite component comprising at least two, first and second partial elements bordering one another, each having a fiber structure and different matrix systems which respectively embed the fiber structure and cure differently from a liquid state is produced by liquifying the matrix system of the first partial element so that it either penetrates irregularly into the region of the bordering second partial element or leaves an unwetted region in the first partial element adjacent the second partial element, and subsequently liquifying the matrix system of the second partial element so that it can be cured abutting the irregular boundary surfaces of the matrix system of the first partial element. The intermeshing or interlocking of the matrix systems with one another and the fibers increase shear strength.

Fiber composite component and method for the production of a fiber composite component

A production method for producing molded articles from fiber composites, superparamagnetic particles are selected which become coupled to an external alternating magnetic field. These superparamagnetic particles are added to a resin portion of a strip-shaped starting material further comprising reinforcing fibers. The strip-shaped starting material is then continuously advanced, and, while being advanced, heated by coupling-in an external alternating magnetic field to which the superparamagnetic particles in the resin portion become coupled. Next, the heated starting material is continuously molded into a molded article; and the resin portion in the molded particle is cured.

Induction-assisted production method

An apparatus includes at least one boom including a tip and a foot and being designed and arranged to be rolled up to form a roll. The tip is located in a radial inward region of the roll and the foot being located in a radial outward region of the roll. The apparatus further includes a unit being designed and arranged to unfold the at least one boom and including a bearing being designed and arranged to cooperate with the foot in a way that the boom in the region of the bearing at the beginning of the unfolding process has an enlarged cross section. Especially, the apparatus may be used in space technology for unfolding a solar sail.
