A shotgun microphone unit which includes a housing, a microphone capsule, a shotgun tube having a longitudinal axis, and a shotgun mounting for mounting the shotgun tube with the microphone capsule within the housing. The shotgun mounting has an axial and a radial mounting, wherein the axial mounting is softer than the radial mounting.

Shotgun microphone unit

There is provided a microphone unit () for an action camera, comprising a microphone capsule () having at least one speaking hole (), and a water-tight enclosure () which water-tightly encloses the microphone capsule (). The water-tight enclosure () has a water-impermeable passive diaphragm () which can oscillate freely and which allows incoming sound to pass substantially undisturbed. The microphone unit has a head () having a plurality of holes (), the head () being provided outside the enclosure () in front of the passive diaphragm (). The microphone unit further has a foam portion () which is provided in front of the head () and has an open-pore foam. The foam portion () is in contact with the head (). The passive diaphragm () has an oscillatable minimum area of 20 mm; wherein the foam portion () has pores which are sufficiently small so that the foam portion () can suck water residues away from the holes () in the head () like a sponge. At the same time however the pores are of such a size that they cannot independently retain water so that water residues, after removal of the microphone unit () from the water, run for the greatest part out of the foam portion () downwardly under the effect of the force of gravity; wherein the foam portion () has a predominant pore density of 15 ppi to 80 ppi.

Microphone unit for an action camera

There is provided a stereo microphone unit having a first and a second interference tube which are arranged at an angle relative to each other and which respectively have a first end and a second end. The stereo microphone unit has a first and a second microphone capsule for detecting an audio signal. The microphone capsules are respectively provided at an end of the first and second interference tubes. The microphone unit further has a securing unit for jointly securing the first and second interference tubes, in particular to a mobile device or to a stand. There is also a cover as a wind protector which is connected to the securing unit and completely encloses the first and second interference tubes.

A process for the production of a plug, in which a circuit board panel with openings is provided for forming a circuit board. A plug insert, having a plurality of pins and a plurality of plug contact surfaces, is then placed in one of the openings, by means of an automatic SMD fitment device, in such a way that at least one pin of the plug rests on the circuit board panel, and at least two plug contact surfaces, which are electrically connected to the pins, rest on the circuit board, with the contact surfaces of the plug being on one plane. The plug contact surfaces are then automatically soldered to at least one of the contact surfaces of the circuit board.

There is provided a capacitive electro-acoustic transducer comprising an active diaphragm () and a first and a second diaphragm carrier (). The active diaphragm () is accommodated between the first and second diaphragm carriers (). The first and second diaphragm carriers () each have a respective flat electrode (). The diaphragm carrier and the electrode are connected together in such a way that the diaphragm carrier projects beyond the electrode by a predetermined amount.
