A filter press for separating solid components from liquid components of a slurry. The filter press includes a compression system coupled to a stationary pressure plate of the filter press. The compression system includes at least one electrically operated compression actuator having a planetary screw assembly, and a transport system coupled to a displaceable pressure plate of the filter press. The transport system includes at least one electrically operated transport actuator having a rack and pinion drive assembly. The compression system rigidly connects to the transport system so as to form, for each respective pair of compression actuators and transport actuators, a common actuator link which extends linearly from the stationary pressure plate to the displaceable pressure plate along the longitudinal dimension. A retrofitting kit for a filter press, a method for replacing an existing compression and transport system for a filter press and a method for controlling a filter press are set forth.

A conveyor system unit configured to form part of an endless conveyor system. A conveyor system unit includes a first slat and a second slat, and each slat has a supporting surface with a first and a second long side edge portion and two short side edge portions. The first and second slats are arranged side by side in view of each other and are interconnected by an elastomeric matrix extending across the supporting surfaces. Each conveyor system unit further includes supporting side walls arranged at each short side edge portion of each slat, and the supporting side walls arranged on a same short edge side of the conveyor system unit are interconnected by an elastomeric matrix wall extending across the supporting side walls. An endless conveyor system including such conveyor system units can be constructed.

Disclosed is a deflection distributor refitting kit for a roller crusher. According to the disclosure the deflection distributor refitting kit comprises a deflection distributing shaft, thrust rods each having first and second ends and mounts for attachment of the deflection distributing shaft at a frame of the roller crusher, wherein a first end of each of the thrust rods is attached to the deflection distributing shaft via a lever, and wherein a second end of each of the thrust rods is arranged to be attached to a movable bearing housing of the roller crusher. Also disclosed is a method for mounting the deflection distributor refitting kit, as well as a roller crusher comprising a deflection distributor.

Disclosed is a deflection distributor refitting kit for a roller crusher. A filter press is disclosed for separating solid components from liquid components of a slurry. The filter press includes side beams and a plurality of filter plates oriented at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the side beams. The filter plates are adapted to move along the side beams. A stationary end is arranged on one end of the side beams and a movable head is adapted to transport the filter plates along the side beams. The filter press includes a press system adapted to exert a closing pressure on the filter plates to press the filter plates against each other. The press system further includes at least one electrically driven actuator adapted to generate an axially directed force on the filter plates by the movable head. The disclosure also relates to a method for separating the solid components from the liquid components of a slurry.

A lining element for a wear-resistant haul truck body lining comprises a reinforcement plate being at least partly embedded in elastic material. The reinforcement plate comprises a plurality of mounting holes which are arranged for mounting the lining element to a haul truck body and which are not covered by the elastic material, and one or more weight-reducing cut-out openings which are larger than the mounting holes and which are covered by the elastic material.

A vibratory screening apparatus including a support and at least two screen decks arranged one over the other as an assembly. Each screen deck includes a screen frame, a screen and a chamber underlaying the screen surface, an outlet duct for oversized material and an outlet duct for undersized material in communication with the chamber. Mountings are configured for mounting the assembly of the screen decks to the support. A drive support with a motor assembly is configured for vibrating the assembly of screen decks. A feed unit is configured to feed the material to be screened to each screen deck. The feed unit is arranged on the support and configured to be moved between a feed position and a maintenance position. The assembly of the at least two screen decks is resiliently arranged on the support, while the feed unit is non-resiliently arranged on the support.

A hydrocyclone separator and a system that includes a plurality of such hydrocyclone separators are presented. The hydrocyclone separator includes a head portion having an inlet conduit and an overflow discharge tube arranged in the head portion. The hydrocyclone separator further has an apex discharge port and a tapered separation portion arranged between the head portion and the apex discharge port. The tapered separation portion is tapering distally away from the head portion. Moreover, the head portion further includes an emptying port arranged in the head portion separately from the overflow discharge tube. Hereby, a hydrocyclone separator capable of achieving improved operational efficiency with reduced risk of coarse fraction being misplaced and left in the head portion is presented. This effectively reduces maintenance needs and prolongs the lifespan of the hydrocyclone.

A hydrocyclone separator for classifying solid material in liquid suspension is disclosed. The hydrocyclone separator comprises a head part having an inlet conduit, a conically tapered separation part, an adjustable apex discharge port, and a tail pipe. According to the invention the adjustable apex discharge port comprises an abrasive-resistant resilient body in which an apex orifice port is arranged, and an adjustment sleeve configured to circumferentially enclose the resilient body, which sleeve has a tapered conical surface configured to abut an outer surface of the resilient body, and which sleeve is arranged for axial displacement to thereby vary the size of the apex orifice port.

The invention relates to a roller crusher having two generally parallel rollers arranged to rotate in opposite directions, towards each other, and separated by a gap, each roller having a first end and a second end. The roller crusher comprises a flange attached to at least one of said ends of one of said rollers. The flange extending in a radial direction of said roller, and has a height above an outer surface of said roller which is sufficient to extend across said gap substantially along a nip angle of said roller crusher.

A hydrocyclone separator and a method for classifying solid material in liquid suspension are presented. The hydrocyclone separator comprises a head portion having an inlet conduit and an overflow discharge tube arranged in the head portion. The hydrocyclone separator further has an apex discharge port and a tapered separation portion arranged between the head portion and the apex discharge port. The tapered separation portion is tapering distally away from the head portion. Moreover, the hydrocyclone separator has a flow support portion with at least one flow support inlet configured to inject a fluid along at least a portion of an inner surface of the flow support portion towards the apex discharge port, when the hydrocyclone separator is oriented such that the apex discharge port is at a vertically elevated position relative to the overflow discharge tube. Hereby, a hydrocyclone separator capable of achieving improved operational efficiency with reduced risk of clogging the apex discharge port is presented.

The hydrocyclone separator includes one or more internal edges that disturb the flow of material within the hydrocyclone separator.
