A vacuum cleaner cyclone separator having a cyclone with a first end wall, a second opposite end wall (,), and an intermediate part (,), which has the shape of either a cylinder or, at least partly, an up-side-down truncated cone. The intermediate part has an outlet opening (,) for particles through which particles separated by the cyclone leave from the intermediate part toward the second end wall. Cyclone separator device for a vacuum cleaner

A holder (10) for a vacuum cleaner dust bag which is removably arranged in the vacuum cleaner and includes a sleeve (14) on which an open end (13) of the bag (11) is received. Two or more clamping blocks (17) at least partly surround the sleeve and can be moved in a radial direction toward and away from the sleeve in order to secure the dust bag to the holder and release the dust bag from the holder.

Holder for a vacuum cleaner dust bag

An upholstery nozzle for a vacuum cleaner including an inlet part, an outlet part (12) and an intermediate channel (13) extending between the inlet and outlet parts. The inlet part includes an elongated nozzle opening (11a) and a spot suction nozzle 11(b). The spot suction nozzle (11b) is arranged close to the nozzle opening (11a) and is in direct communication with the intermediate channel (13).

Upholstery nozzle

A device for storing nozzles or tools for a vacuum cleaner. The cleaner includes a tube handle (12) to which a tube shaft (13) with a floor nozzle (14) can be secured. The tube handle (12) is attached to a vacuum cleaner hose (11) which is connected to a vacuum cleaner body or source. The device includes a holder (15) which releasably retains several accessories (27,34,39). The holder is located on or adjacent the tube handle (12).

Device for storing nozzles for a vacuum cleaner

A vacuum cleaner nozzle having a nozzle body (10) having a nozzle opening (13) facing a surface to be cleaned and one or more scraper blades. The scraper blades have a single, strip-shaped piece (16), made from rubber, plastic or some other elastic material. The blade has a first edge part (18) resting on the surface (19) to be cleaned and a second, opposite edge part which is secured in a holder (17) in the nozzle body. The distance (A) of the holder from the surface being cleaned is mainly constant when the scraper blade is moved forwards or rearwards on a hard surface. The length of the blade (16) extending toward the surface from the holder under free conditions is larger than the distance (A) from the holder to the surface so that the first edge part (18) during forward and rearward movement will trail behind the holder, as seen in the direction of movement of the nozzle. The blade (16) is shaped and constructed such that when the direction of movement of the nozzle is reversed, the blade serves as a soft spring for forces which are applied on the first edge part (18) from the surface (19) toward the holder (17).

Vacuum cleaner nozzle

A vacuum cleaner having a hose (13) which is connected to a vacuum cleaner housing, the outer end of the hose having a tube handle (12). The tube handle is connected to a nozzle (10) by a tube shaft (11). The tube shaft (11) is movable relative to the tube handle (12), and can be releasably locked in different positions. A device is conveniently provided to allow the operator to adjust the relative length of the tube shaft by moving the tube shaft relative to the tube handle.

A portable suction cleaner comprises a housing (10) with a filter bag (11) and a suction fan (12) driven by a motor (13). The suction cleaner is characterized in that the housing (10) is provided with a carrier belt (19) adapted to be applied around the bearer's waist or hips.

Suction cleaner

In a suction cleaner comprising a housing (10) having an inlet (11), a filter chamber (12) with a filter bag (13), a suction fan (14) with a motor (15), and an outlet passage (17) through which filtered air passes from the suction fan to an outet (16), the motor is provided with a control circuit (20) adapted to be activated by a first pressure switch (21) which is actuated by the underpressure in the filter chamber (12) in order to control the motor power at a predetermined level. According to the invention, the suction cleaner is provided with a second pressure switch (22) which is actuated by the pressure in the outlet (17) and adapted to activate the control circuit (20) when said pressure exceeds a predetermined level.

In a suction cleaner comprising a housing (10) with a disposable filter bag (13) a movable tube piece (17) is provided which is adapted to enter the inlet opening (14a) of the filter bag. According to the invention, the tube piece (17) is provided with a control means actuatable by a pressure difference, preferably the difference between atmospheric pressure and the underpressure in the suction cleaner housing.

Arrangement in a suction cleaner

Arrangement for winding of an electric cable which arrangement comprises a rotatable drum from which the cable is arranged to be wound off manually, and an electric motor (M) arranged to be connected to a first circuit for driving the drum in the winding direction and arranged to be rotated by the drum during unwinding of the cable. A second circuit (M,1,3,4) comprises besides the motor (M) also a contact means (1) arranged to be closed when the motor (M) is inoperative. During unwinding of the cable from the drum the motor generates a braking moment which increases with the speed of rotation of the motor. The second circuit preferably comprises a voltage dependent switch (3), preferably a Zener-diode, which is arranged to be closed when the voltage generated by the motor (M) during the unwinding exceeds a value corresponding to a predetermined speed of rotation of the drum and, as a consequence, of the motor.
