An information handling system may include a processor; a memory; a power management unit (PMU); a wireless interface adapter to communicate via an antenna to a wireless network; an antenna controller to: receive, via a sideband wireless communication link, network telemetry data descriptive of network operating frequency bands and network frequency channels from a remote optimizing information handling system management system for a wireless protocol; receive operating characteristics associated with the operation of the information handling system indicating at least one detuning trigger for a network operating frequency band for a wireless protocol link for the wireless network; execute instructions of an antenna tuning algorithm to determine a tune state of the antenna, and issue instructions to a radio frequency switch including a resistor, inductor, and capacitor (RLC) circuit tuner at the antenna to tune the antenna to transceive data at the network operating frequency band to a target frequency commensurate with the network telemetry data descriptive of the wireless link according to the tune state.

An information handling system executing an intelligent throughput performance analysis and issue detection system may comprise a network interface device to establish a wireless link with a wireless network and a processor to execute a neural network trained to predict wireless link throughput values based on controlled connectivity testing metrics gathered in a controlled laboratory from tested information handling systems. The processor may gather measured throughput of the wireless link and operational connectivity metrics for the information handling system that describe antenna positional information, antenna adaptation controller parameters, signal strength measurements, and wireless link performance metrics. The neural network may output, based on the gathered operational connectivity metrics a predicted throughput value that differs from the measured throughput by a maximum tolerance. The network interface device may transmit a notification of erroneously predicted throughput, the neural network output, and the operational connectivity metrics to a remote neural network training platform for retraining.

System and method for intelligent throughput performance analysis and issue detection

An information handling system may include a processor; a memory; a power management unit (PMU); a wireless interface adapter to communicate, via a plurality of transceiving antennas operated by one or more radios, a plurality of operating wireless links, wherein the plurality of transceiving antennas operate in a multiple-in-multiple-out (MIMO) array configuration; an antenna controller to receive data descriptive of network data traffic information, wireless connection states, and signal telemetry data via a sideband wireless communication link from a wireless front end and initiate a dual high band wireless local-area network (WLAN) communication by switching a first transceiving antenna of the plurality of transceiving antennas associated with the cellular front end to be operatively coupled to one or more high band ports at the WLAN front end; and the antenna controller to issue instructions to the cellular front end to adjust a subset of transceiving antennas and to issue instructions to a WLAN front end to operate with the first transceiving antenna.

An information handling system includes an antenna controller that may receive, from a platform sensor, platform sensor information as to a physical configuration usage mode, and receive, from a proximity sensor, information as to a part of a body of a user to an antenna. The antenna controller may also obtain a radio transmit power level value corresponding to the platform sensor information and to the proximity sensing information, send the radio transmit power level value to a radio via a serial interface, and reconfigure the antenna in response to the platform sensor information and the proximity sensing information. A radio may adjust a radio transmit power level to an adjusted radio transmit power level based on the radio transmit power level value.
